Sunday will see the completion of four more UEFA qualifying groups for the 2026 World Cup. It’s business time, and with something to play for in each of Groups D and F, along with some interesting games in Groups I and K, we’ve looked ahead to see where the value lies in an action-packed acca bet.
The big game in Group D is Iceland vs. Ukraine, an all-or-nothing shootout for the final playoff spot. In Group F, the Republic of Ireland travels to Hungary, knowing they need all three points to progress. For England, it’s job done for Thomas Tuchel, but they’ll be keen to keep a remarkable unbeaten record going as they play Albania in their final game of Group K.

Bet 1: Republic of Ireland to beat Hungary – 3/1 bet365
With two wins in their last two World Cup qualifiers, Heimir Hallgrímsson’s Republic of Ireland have given themselves a lifeline to make the playoffs. It comes down to an all-or-nothing game against Hungary in Budapest on Sunday, and we’re backing the Boys in Green to get the job done.
The win against Portugal was an iconic night for Irish football. Seeing Cristiano Ronaldo take an early bath following an elbow on Dara O’Shea was the icing on the cake in a commanding 2-0 win.
Hungary away won’t be easy, but the Irish haven’t lost to the Mighty Magyars since 1969 (3W, 4D), and a price of 3/1 looks way too big for them to progress in style.
Bet 2: England Over 5.5 Team Corners – 10/11 bet365
It’s effectively a dead rubber in Group K as England have already locked in the automatic qualifying spot back in October. But Thomas Tuchel will be desperate to maintain their perfect record of seven wins from seven, without a single goal conceded. We’ve dipped into our Albania vs England bet builder for this one and are opting for over 5.5 team corners for the Three Lions.
The Kickform corner stats for England support this, with 100% of their World Cup Qualifying games away from home (86% combined) surpassing the 5.5 team corner mark. Odds of 10/11 (52.4% implied probability) for a market they’ve dominated are too good to overlook and drop in as the second of our Sunday acca tips.
Bet 3: Ukraine to beat Iceland – 7/10 bet365
A win and only a win will be enough for Serhiy Rebrov’s Ukraine against Iceland on Sunday afternoon. They’re level on points, but Iceland’s superior goal difference means they only need a draw to progress into the playoffs.
There’s not a huge amount of history between the two teams, but if we look back at the game in October that Ukraine won 5-3 in Iceland, it felt like a fundamental mismatch in terms of quality. They’ve only lost once at home since March 2021, and Iceland have won just one on the road in that time as well. Odds of 7/10 are shorter than we’d like, but as part of the wider acca, it’s a nice boost up to 12/1 for this formidable 3-fold.
