NFL Predictions for Week 12 – 7.0+ Confidence Rating
It’s not always about what you know, but instead, who you know. And the bookies clearly know who’s lumping on the Packers right now as both the public and general sharps have favoured the Vikings, yet the Packers continue to shorten the line from -3.5 to -6.5. Classic reverse line movement. Divisional games always add a bit of extra spice, but Green Bay at home and a hair under a full TD score is the play.
Another significant flip, this time with the Saints as they move from +2.5 to -1.5. Again, money and the public are on the Falcons, suggesting the big boys are on the Saints this week. In terms of a matchup, this is two of the poorer teams in the NFL this year. But the Saints have shown signs of improvement defensively, and along with home-field advantage, -1.5 gets a 7.0 confidence rating for Week 12.
This could be the game of the week and one we’re really looking forward to. Both teams are in with great shots of making the playoffs, but the public have gone heavy on the Buccs with 63% in terms of the number of bets. The sharps aren’t far behind, with 64% of the money, but the line has significantly shortened on the Rams from -2.5 to -6.5. All three picks this week have identical confidence ratings because their markets and head-to-head form are just so similar. The Rams at -6.5 is the third and final play for Week 12.
