Blackburn Rovers vs Millwall – Under 2.5 Goals
Of the teams in the bottom half of the league, only Wrexham, with 25 goals against, have conceded less than Blackburn. However, Rovers find themselves down in 20th position, mainly due to their struggles at the other end. Blackburn have mustered a mere 20 goals this season, an average on a goal a game.
Despite being fourth in the table, Millwall have a negative goal difference, scoring 25 times, the lowest total in the top half. We are expecting a Scrooge-like game in terms of goals. The Kickform stats back this up, with a 66% chance of under 2.5 goals and the most likely results listed at 1-0, 0-0 and 2-0.
Southampton vs Coventry City – BTTS: Yes & Over 2.5 Goals
Southampton had something that resembles a revival as of late and climbed the table in recent weeks to get within sight of the playoff spots. They face leaders Coventry, who have steadied the ship with a draw and a win after their second defeat of the season, 3-0 away at Ipswich Town.
The Saints have scored 35 and shipped 30 in 21 games, while Coventry have scored 52 in 21, conceding 22. 71% of Southampton’s matches and 67% of Coventry’s games have seen at least three goals. 81% of Southampton’s fixtures and 57% of Coventry’s matches have seen both teams get on the scoresheet. Kickform give a 77% chance of over 2.5 goals and a 74% chance of both teams scoring. We’re expecting a goal fest, which is why we are backing both teams to score and over 2.5 goals on the second leg of our 10bet treble.
Queens Park Rangers vs Leicester City – BTTS: Yes & Over 2.5 Goals
The stats are pointing to another high-scoring match at Loftus Road. Ninth-placed QPR hosts eighth-placed Leicester City, and there have been goals at both ends in games involving both sides.
62% of QPR’s games and 57% of Leicester’s matches have had over 2.5 goals, while both teams have scored in 71% of both sides’ fixtures. Recent weeks have seen both of these metrics come up for both teams, and we are confident that this will be the case again.
