We are only a few days into the New Year, yet we have already seen two high-profile managers join the unemployment line. Nuno Espirito Santo is on the brink of making it a hat-trick, and the West Ham boss could certainly do with a positive result when his men welcome Nottingham Forest to the London Stadium for a massive Premier League clash this Tuesday night.

Bet 1: Under 3.5 Goals

The fight for Premier League survival is beginning to heat up, and both West Ham and Nottingham Forest are in the thick of it.

The Irons have lost four of their last five games, including a shocking 3-0 defeat away at bottom-of-the-table Wolverhampton last Saturday. On top of that, the London outfit have failed to score in three of their last four.

Forest are also struggling, losing four straight Premier League matches and scoring just two goals during that time.

With both clubs out of form and both struggling to find the back of the net, we expect a low scoring affair. Under 3.5 goals is priced around the 6/17 mark, which marks a slow but steady start to our bet builder.

Bet 2: Over 8.5 Corners

Both clubs are struggling in the goalscoring department, but that’s not due to a lack of trying. The real problem for both has been turning attacking opportunities into points on the scoreboard.

When it comes to corners, Nottingham Forest are actually sixth in the Premier League, enjoying the set piece 110 times – just six short of Man City and five fewer than Arsenal. With 106 to their name, West Ham are not far behind either.

Bearing those stats in mind, we are backing over 8.5 corners in Tuesday’s fixture at around the 2/5 mark.

Bet 3: Jarrod Bowen Over 0.5 Shots on Target

West Ham supporters have little to be positive about at this moment, though one of the few encouraging things is the form of Jarrod Bowen.

The England international has scored three goals in six games for the Irons. In fact, the 29-year-old has scored 50% of West Ham’s goals since the start of December.

When it comes to number of shots this season, Bowen is eighth in the Premier League with 32 to his name. The West Ham frontman is just behind names such as Mattheus Cunha (36), Bryan Mbeumo (36) and Antoine Semenyo (41).

With the hosts needing to go on the front foot to appease their frosty supporters, we are backing Bowen to have at least one shot on target at around 7/9 odds.
