Michael van Gerwen vs Luke Humphries – Over 8.5 Legs
Defending Premier League champion Luke Humphries goes by the name of Cool Hand, but there hasn’t been much coolness about him since the start of the 2026 campaign.
Humphries has only managed two match wins over the first four weeks, leaving him in a lowly sixth position in the standings.
The former World Champion is certainly trying to turn things around, averaging a whopping 106.29 last week in his quarter-final clash with Stephen Bunting. Despite those impressive numbers, Humphries was back at his hotel in time for Corrie.
Michael van Gerwen also endured an early night in Belfast following a tight defeat to Gerwyn Price, and he will be determined for a better run in Cardiff.
Four of their previous five meetings have seen over 8.5 legs, and we’re sticking with that trend as both men chase points.
Gian van Veen vs Jonny Clayton – Over 4.5 180s
You’ve got to feel for Gian van Veen. The Dutchman has reached three finals in four weeks, yet he still hasn't claimed the £10,000 bonus.
The Giant was stopped in his tracks by Bunting last week, and things won’t get any easier in Cardiff as he takes on red-hot Jonny Clayton.
When it comes to hitting 180s, there is nobody better than the Welshman, who tops the maximum charts with 26 to his name. Van Veen is not far behind with 25, meaning we should be in for a 180-fest this Thursday night. Over 4.5 maximums is the way to go.
Gerwyn Price vs Stephen Bunting – Over 9.5 Legs
Gerwyn Price has played seven matches during this Premier League Darts campaign, and all seven of them saw over 8.5 legs. Meanwhile, 71% of his matches have gone over 10.5 legs.
Looking at the recent head-to-head record between Price and Bunting, we’re expecting that run of tight games to continue.
Three previous Premier League encounters saw over 9.5 legs, while their latest clash at the Poland Darts Masters ended in an 8-7 thriller.
There’s not much between these two, and we’re going with the over 9.5 legs bet at around the 4/5 mark.

Luke Littler vs Josh Rock – Littler –2.5 Handicap
Josh Rock made history last week after his nine-darter in Belfast produced arguably the greatest set of ‘limbs’ ever seen in darts.
The Northern Irish crowd went absolutely nuts, but they were still denied a win for their man as Rock fell to a 6-2 defeat against Van Veen.
Interestingly, all four of Rock’s Premier League matches have ended in 6-2 defeats this season, and we don’t expect those numbers to improve against Luke Littler.
The World Champion has won all his previous five matches with Rock, losing just one leg across two of the most recent encounters.
Bearing everything in mind, we’re backing Littler in the –2.5 handicap market at a decent price of 17/20.
