The race for promotion in the Championship is arguably just as tense as the Premier League title battle. Tuesday night is expected to deliver more drama, and I’m here to capitalise on the latest odds. Check out my 4-fold acca below.

Tuesday’s EFL Acca

The Championship has been bonkers this season. We’ve had Tom Brady, Snoop Dogg, Ryan Reynolds… we’ll soon have Tottenham to join the fun. Tuesday night is set to offer more moments of madness, but after crunching all the numbers, I’ve managed to come up with a 4-fold acca.

Ladbrokes, who are one of the best online bookies, are offering 6/1 odds for these selections. That’s a lot better than the 4.62/1 odds available on bet365. Without further ado, let’s jump in.

Match Market Odds
Coventry vs Portsmouth Portsmouth Over 0.5 Goals 4/7 (Ladbrokes)
Leicester City vs Hull City Hull/Draw Double Chance 3/4 (Ladbrokes)
QPR vs Swansea City Zan Vipotnik Over 0.5 Shots on Target 7/10 (Ladbrokes)
Southampton vs Bristol City Southampton Over 1.5 Goals 1/2 (Ladbrokes)
 Total Odds 6/1 (Ladbrokes)

*Odds correct at 16:00 BST on 20/04/2026. Odds subject to change.

Bet 1: Coventry vs Portsmouth – Portsmouth Over 0.5 Goals

Congratulations to Coventry for securing Premier League promotion, but what I really want to talk about is Portsmouth.

Pompey have completely bamboozled football experts in recent times, going from a three-match losing run at the end of March to a three-match winning run in April. On top of that, two of the three victories came against promotion contenders Middlesbrough and Ipswich.

John Mousinho’s men are absolutely flying, and I’m backing them to score against a Coventry side that can take their foot off the gas.

Bet 2: Leicester City vs Hull City – Hull/Draw Double Chance

If Leicester City’s season were the Titanic, the ship has sunk, Leo is gone, and Kate Winslet is already auditioning for her next role. Simply put: the Foxes are finished.

Gary Rowett's men are on a one-way road to relegation after managing just one win from their last 17 Championship games, leaving them 23rd and eight points adrift of safety.

Hull, on the other hand, boast the fifth best away record in the division and are still in the thick of the fight for playoff football. I have no choice but to back the visitors in the double chance market.

Bet 3: QPR vs Swansea City – Zan Vipotnik Over 0.5 Shots on Target

Both teams are meandering in the middle of the standings, but I’m not really interested in either side here.

I’m more bothered about the current top scorer, Zan Vipotnik, who has bagged 21 goals for Swansea this season.

Since returning from the international break, the Slovenian superstar has produced five shots on target and turned four of them into goals.

Only one team in the Championship has a worse defensive record than QPR, so I’m expecting Vipotnik to have at least one shot on target.

Bet 4: Southampton vs Bristol City – Southampton Over 1.5 Goals

Nineteen matches unbeaten, eight wins in a row, and second place in touching distance – it's been a good time for Southampton, who are pushing for a sensational return to the Premier League.

The Saints have scored over 1.5 goals in six straight matches, including their FA Cup victory over Arsenal earlier this month.

On top of that, Tonda Eckert’s men boast the second-best attack in the competition, scoring 75 goals this season.

Bristol City, meanwhile, saw their leaky defence ship four at home against Norwich last weekend.

I like the look of Southampton, and I’m backing them to get over 1.5 goals this Tuesday night.
