Manchester United are closing in on a Champions League spot while Brentford are striving to stay in the race for Europe. The two sides meet at Old Trafford in the April 27th Monday Night Football, but after much deliberation, I've opted for a 32/5 4-fold that swerves the result market altogether.

I have had some success with double chance recently, most notably with my Bournemouth vs Leeds bet builder on Wednesday. I looked at this, but with Manchester United third in the Premier League home table with 10 wins from 16 and Brentford having lost half of their 16 away matches I wasn’t confident enough to back the Bees to get something at 4/6. The odds for Man United or a draw were too short and given some of the results Brentford have pulled off this season I decided not to back Michael Carrick’s side to win.
Instead, using data from Kickform I focused on some other markets where the bookies may have taken their eye off the ball slightly to give a tasty 32/5 bet builder with SBK.
Under 4.5 Cards
Neither side have racked up too many cards this season. The stats from Kickform show us that the home side sit 15th in the table for cards with an average of 1.70 per game, while the Bees are 11th, averaging 1.79 cards per match. In terms of match cards both teams have had under five cards in well over half of their games. I think that under 4.5 cards at 8/15 is a great starting point for my bet builder.
Over 8.5 Corners
Another thing that both teams have in common is their corner count. Manchester United are 14th in the Premier League table with an average of 4.67 corners per game, just below the visitors who average 4.82 (12th). The Kickform data shows that for match corners 55% of Man Utd’s matches and 67% of Brentford’s games have topped the 8.5 mark. The figures go to 59% for both teams when it comes to the Red Devils’ home fixtures and Brentford’s away matches. I feel that these stats point to there being nine or more corners.
Benjamin Sesko Over 1.5 Shots On Target
Benjamin Sesko has averaged 1.86 shots on target per 90 minutes this season. Sesko took his time to get up and running this season, but the forward has thrived under Carrick. He managed three shots on target in Man United’s last home game against Leeds and I back him to get two or more attempts on target against Brentford.
Igor Thiago Over 1.5 Fouls
Igor Thiago has banged in 21 Premier League goals in 21 starts this season, which, quite rightly, has earned him rave reviews. His overall contribution to Brentford’s cause has also been impressive, with Thiago proving himself to be a strong, competitive forward. The downside of this is the concession of fouls. He has averaged 1.94 fouls per game, and I am tipping him to register at least two infringements at Old Trafford.
