Fresh from a winning bet builder on Friday night, I’m back with another 4-fold ahead of a tasty Champions League semi-final clash between Atletico Madrid and Arsenal. To make things even more juicy, I’ve used a new bookmaker, meaning I’m taking advantage of their welcome offer. Let’s jump straight into the action…
Atletico Madrid vs Arsenal Bet Builder
Don’t know about you, but I had a great Friday night after turning £5 into £22 on a Sunderland vs Nottingham Forest treble.
My attention turns to the Champions League this Wednesday night, so I’ve decided to use BetMGM for my Atletico Madrid vs Arsenal bet builder as they offered the best odds and because I could take advantage of their welcome offer.

*Odds correct at 10:20 BST on 27/04/2026. Odds subject to change.
Bet 1: Under 3.5 Goals
Under 3.5 goals might sound a little negative, but I just don’t see a high-scoring game when looking at this Arsenal side.
Mikel Arteta’s men don’t score too many goals at the moment, and they don’t really concede many either.
This bet has landed in Arsenal’s previous 13 matches – a run which stretches back to their 4-1 win over Tottenham in February.
As this is the first leg, I expect to see an element of caution from both teams. Don’t forget, you can’t win a tie in the first leg, but you can certainly lose it.
Bet 2: Total Corners Over 7.5
Just because I don’t expect goals doesn't mean I don’t expect corners. On the contrary.
Both teams average six corners per match in their respective domestic leagues, while Arsenal have famously turned the set-piece into one of their most trusted sources of goals.
This bet has landed in Arsenal’s last four outings, and I’m backing that trend to continue.

Bet 3: Julian Alvarez Over 0.5 Shots on Target
Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez has excelled in the Champions League this season – in fact, he is posting far better numbers in Europe than La Liga.
In 13 Champions League outings, the Argentine has scored nine goals and had 39 shots – 20 of which were on target.
Alvarez has produced at least one shot on target in his last seven outings for Atletico, including his last four Champions League appearances.
Bet 4: Over 5.5 Goalkeeper Saves
Watching Arsenal lately has been hard work. In fact, I probably had more fun reading the terms and conditions for this BetMGM welcome offer than watching the Gunners.
The same cannot be said about Atletico Madrid, who continue to churn out thrillers both home and away.
I’m backing the hosts to finally force Arsenal out of second gear, simply because they have done this to all their other opponents in recent weeks.
Over 5.5 total match saves is available at 41/50 ahead of Wednesday’s game, and given how intense some of Atletico’s recent outings have been, I see that as a solid addition to the bet builder.
