This week’s European action centres around the Europa League. I have embraced the abundance of fixtures by compiling a six-leg acca with a whopping 45/1 payoff. With so many bets, it is a big ask for it to all fall into place, so I’m hoping the stats will be ever in my favour.

Bet 1: Omonia Nicosia vs Celta Vigo – Celta to Win
Celta have not made a great start to their La Liga campaign; however, I fully expect them to come away with a win. The Kickform predictions give the Galician side a 74% chance of victory, and I am going along with this to kickstart my acca.
Bet 2: Hapoel Be’er Sheva vs Dinamo Zagreb – Dinamo to Win
Kickform are giving a 62% chance of an away win. Hapoel have been patchy at home this season and I think Dinamo will come out on top. Odds of evens at Betfred are great value.
Bet 3: Sunderland vs AZ Alkmaar – Sunderland to Win
Sunderland begin their first European campaign in over 50 years with a home tie against AZ Alkmaar. Alkmaar are a good away side, however, Sunderland give very little away at home and Kickform give them a 65% chance of winning. I think that the crowd at the Stadium of Light will play a big part and that the Black Cats will have too much for the Dutch side. Home win.
Bet 4: Celtic vs Ferencvarosi – Celtic to Win
Celtic have been strong at home this season and I back them to bounce back from their Scottish League Cup loss to Rangers by beating Ferencvarosi. The Hungarian side have had a mixed start to the season but have performed well away from home, so it won’t be easy for the Buoys. I back Celtic to make home advantage count with the help of the crowd.
Bet 5: Crystal Palace vs Lech Poznan – Palace to Win & Jorgen Stand Larsen to Score or Assist
Palace have not started the season well; however, I think that they will have enough to get the job done. So far things have not gone too well for Jorgen Strand Larsen at Selhurst Park since his switch from Wolves. He is likely to start on Thursday, and this represents a great opportunity for him to make an impact. I’m backing him to score or assist in a home win.
Bet 6: Double Chance- Draw or Bournemouth & Marcus Tavernier to Score or Assist
Bournemouth have produced a number of decent performances this season but have been unable to win in the Premier League. Real Sociedad have had a very average start to the season, but they are a decent side. Bournemouth are favourites but I do not have enough faith in them being able to see games out, so I am going Double Chance rather than backing them to win. I have plenty of faith in the form of Marcus Tavernier though. He has looked dangerous in all of their matches and has three Premier League goals already. I back him to find the net or bag an assist on Thursday.
