Old men normally go to Thailand for a good time, but that is not the case for Tyson Fury and Mariusz Wach, as the two fighters go toe-to-toe in a 10-round heavyweight bout in Pattaya. After doing some digging, I managed to find a couple of tasty bets ahead of Friday's big show in Thailand.

Tyson Fury vs Mariusz Wach Best Bets

The boxing world is waiting for Fury and Joshua to finally get it on. This weekend seems like the final hurdle before that all-British showdown, but then again, this fight has collapsed more times than a badly built folding chair.

Anyway, the focus for Fury is on Friday night, and I’ve picked out two bets with one of the best online bookies, Betfred.

Market Odds Return for £10
Tyson Fury to Win by Decision or Technical Decision 3/1 (Betfred – Boosted Price from 11/4) £40.00
At Least 5 Rounds Completed 5/6 (Betfred) £18.33

Bet 1: Tyson Fury to Win by Decision or Technical Decision

After picking up a victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov last April, boxing fans expected Fury to finally get it on with Joshua. But guess, what! This is boxing. Things never go as planned.

Instead, Fury will travel to Thailand for another tune-up bout with 46-year-old Mariusz Wach.

You read that correctly… 46. Wach was a top heavyweight back when Britain had a semi-stable government and Donald Trump was still nothing more than a TV goof. Ahhh, those were the days!

Currently, Wach beats up influencers for money in his native Poland and is also a sparring partner for a lot of the top heavyweights… including Fury.

These two men know each other very well, and I for one am not buying the competitive element to this fight.

I’m not claiming that the fight is rigged. But I am saying that Wach is there to do a job and give Fury rounds in a competitive environment to prepare him for the Joshua clash.

Keeping that in mind, I don’t think Fury will go all guns blazing trying to knock him out. On the contrary, Fury needs rounds, and that does push me towards one specific betting market.

Fury to win by decision or technical decision is currently priced at 11/4 with William Hill. However, if you go to Betfred, you’ll find the same selection available at a boosted price of 3/1.

There are few other realistic bets at that price, leaving me no choice but to give this a go.

Where to watch Fury vs Wach?

Looking forward to seeing Fury back in action? I’ve got some bad news. This fight will not be shown live anywhere. Instead, the cameras will be catching the best of the action before showing it on the latest Netflix series of ‘At Home With The Furys’.

Bet 2: At Least 5 Rounds Completed

I really think the bookies are not understanding what this fight is all about. Looking through alternative markets, I found a 4/11 bet on at least three rounds to be completed.

I’m not going to repeat my reasons for thinking this fight will go the distance, but even if Fury were to earn a stoppage, it would most likely come in the second half of the fight.

Don’t forget. This is a tune-up. Fury needs rounds. With that in mind, I’m backing at least five rounds to be completed at 5/6 as my secondary bet. No, you read that price correctly! Almost even money!
