The final two games of the Champions League quarter-finals take place on Wednesday, 15 April, and all eyes are on the Emirates and the Allianz Arena. If you chose last week to watch Arsenal vs Sporting over Real Madrid vs Bayern, I urge you not to make that mistake this week, as it could be another classic. Although Arsenal Fans TV would be worth tuning into if they get knocked out of a third cup within the space of as many weeks.

Arsenal vs Sporting Betting Tips – Morten Hjulmand to be Booked

Sporting will be delighted to have Morten Hjulmand back in the starting lineup on Wednesday evening. They missed the Danes tenaciousness in the middle of the park in the first leg, and I’ve been so impressed with how he mixes quality with aggression, and really gets his side moving on the transition. It’s not surprising at all that the likes of Manchester City are already sniffing around to get him to the Premier League next season.

He is, however, fiery, shall we say. He’s picked up five yellows in the Champions League already this season and returns for the second leg after a one-game ban. Across the entire season, that’s now 13 yellows in all competitions.

Arsenal are, admittedly, rocking at the moment, but I think they’ll control the game against Sporting. That means Hjulmand will have to step out, and if things start to slip, he could get frustrated. He’s 19/10 to be booked with Ladbrokes, and I’m kicking that off as my opener in an otherwise less than appealing game for the punters.

Bayern vs Real Madrid Betting Tips – Harry Kane 2+ Shots on Target

The fact that Harry Kane is 2/5 to score or assist against Real Madrid not only shows how good Bayern have been this year (105 goals in Bundesliga already) but also how fragile Madrid are at the back. Of course, there’s zero value in that price, but it does give you an insight as to where the bookies think this game is going.

I am, however, going to stick with Kane, and surprisingly, there’s a bit of value in the shots on target market. Basically, I’m backing Kane to have over 1.5 shots on target at 11/10.

The numbers absolutely back up this bet as well. He’s clocked a staggering 105 shots on target in just 47 games in all competitions, returning 19 from his 10 Champions League appearances. He’s had two or more in seven of those 10 games, and everything suggests that he will have more chances on Wednesday. I can’t help but feel that 11/10 is a great price and therefore, is the first of my Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid betting tips.

Bayern vs Real Madrid Prediction – Jonathan Tah Over 1.5 Fouls

It’s not breaking news to suggest that if Bayern extend their lead or even hold firm with their one-goal advantage, that this game could get very scrappy. The first leg was a great watch with both teams back and forth for 90 minutes, but you can’t overlook the fact that there were 24 fouls and five yellow cards.

Jonathan Tah, Bayern’s centre-back, caught my eye in the fouls market. The German has 21 fouls in 10 starts in the Champions League this season, the most of any player. He’s a big boy, 6’4, 220lb and doesn’t mind throwing himself into tackles.

I’m looking at the likes of Vini Junior, Jude Bellingham (if he starts), Kylian Mbappe, Federico Valverde and Arda Guler, sometimes wondering if a strong gust of wind will send these boys to the ground. Ideal for opposition fouls bets, as long as the referee plays along.

Getting 8/5 on Tah to make two or more fouls is a great addition to the bet. You could leave it out and get a double paying around 9/2, or add it in and pump up those odds to 12/1 with Ladbrokes acca boost. I’m going with the latter, but you do you.
