The Premier League title is up for grabs, and on 19 April, Manchester City host Arsenal in the biggest game of the season so far. City are doing what they’ve always done, and finished the season strong, whereas Arsenal are trying to shake the shackles of elite bottlers. Grab the popcorn, as this one could be a classic.

Man City to Win
It took me approximately 0.08 seconds to make the first pick of my Manchester City vs Arsenal bet builder, and that’s for City to blow this title race wide open and win at odds of 86/100 with 10Bet.
I can’t help but feel the League Cup final win in March was crucial for City this season. A bit like Pep tapping on a glass floor that’s about to break, letting Arteta know they’re still here, fighting for this title. Keegan-esque, if you will.
Hindsight will no doubt run its course, but there’s the potential for similarities in that famous bottle job by Newcastle United 1995-96 as they tried to fend off Sir Alex’s Manchester United, but ultimately let a 15-point lead slip. A season where, as a Newcastle fan, I’m still bearing scars.
Anyway… Arteta has been like a cat on a hot tin roof when it comes to defending the drab style of football they’ve been serving up of late, and their 0-0 draw against Sporting in the Champions League means that’s just one win in their last five.
The neutral in me wants the league to go down to the wire, and for that to happen, City must beat Arsenal on Sunday. Any other result and it’s job done for Arsenal.
Erling Haaland to Score Anytime
Erling Haaland is proving to be a victim of his own success. He’s been called out in the media over the last few weeks about his lack of goals, and I even heard preposterous calls about whether his time in Manchester was coming to an end.
But if we back up a little bit and look at the wider picture, Haaland has still scored 46 goals in 51 appearances this season. It’s a staggering ROI. While the argument that he hasn’t been as prolific in 2026 as he has been through 2025 has merit, these are elite numbers for one of the best strikers the Premier League has seen.
Odds of 6/5 for Haaland to score anytime looks a massive price here. He bagged a hat-trick in the FA Cup quarter-final against Liverpool, and even though he didn’t get on the scoresheet last week against Chelsea, he was sharp, menacing and looked like he had a point to prove. It’s a fixture he likes as well, with five goals and two assists in seven appearances against Arsenal. An easy pick at this price.
Ben White Over 1.5 Tackles
Individual battles across the pitch are going to make or break on Sunday. These two teams have well above their peers this season, so the margins are razor-thin. One of those battles that caught my eye in the League Cup final was Ben White going up against Jeremy Doku.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not sure if White should have been allowed back in the England fold after shunning them as part of the previous regime. But there’s no doubt that he’s one of the best right-backs in the league.
The last time these two met, Doku lost possession 17 times, attempted 10 dribbles, completed just six and was fouled three times. He was nullified, for the most part, and this was largely down to a solid display by Ben White, who made three tackles, two interceptions, four clearances, three recoveries and was dribbled past just once. A solid return for a team on the losing side.
But here’s what’s got me really excited about this bet, and that’s the odds. BetVictor are giving us 8/15 here, which admittedly isn’t going to pay for a villa in the south of France. However, the next best price? 1/5 with SpreadEx. And if you’re betting with bet365, it’s 1/6. The odds alone make this a +EV bet, and the numbers support the theory.

Total Corners – Over 9.5
Corners are in both these clubs' DNA. Arsenal have the third most in the league (191) while City aren’t far behind in fifth (182). We all know how important set pieces have been for Arteta this season, scoring 25 times from a dead-ball situation, some five more than the next best, Newcastle.
City are less reliant, but the numbers suggest that it’s a tie that breeds corners. Four of the last five meetings at the Etihad have cruised past the over 9.5 corners line that I’m taking on, and I’m more than comfortable with the 10/11 price on offer from BetVictor.
Plus, it means my bet builder for the game is boosted from 17/5 without, to 6/1 with, so I’m taking this corner betting opportunity as a strong win.
