Brentford vs Fulham Betting Tips: Over 8.5 Corners

Both London clubs head into this one with realistic aspirations of making Europe. The hosts are favourites but this one really could go either way. I don’t feel that I can confidently predict this result, and the odds are not attractive enough to take a speculative punt. So, I have chosen to go with the corner market to start my Saturday acca.

The stats from Kickform show that 66% of Brentford’s matches have seen over 8.5 corners, while Fulham’s games have hit that mark 81% of the time, the joint highest in the league. Brentford have won an average of 4.69 corners per game while Fulham have won an average of 4.88 corners in their fixtures. This shows that both sides are capable of giving corners away as well as winning them.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Brighton & Hove Albion Odds and Predictions: Over 4.5 Cards

Tottenham, deep in relegation trouble host Brighton who are pushing for Europe. Spurs have a terrible home record and new boss Roberto De Zerbi, facing his old club, will be hoping to turn this around in his first home match.

I am again steering clear of betting on the result. The odds are not particularly enticing, and Brighton aren’t great away from home with five wins and seven defeats from 16 matches. Betting on cards is the way to go on this one. The two sides are second and third in the Premier League card table with Spurs averaging 2.59 cards per game and Brighton averaging 2.50. I think that the two teams coming together and Spurs’ desperation will result in at least five cards.

Chelsea vs Manchester United Bets: BTTS & Chelsea Over 2.5 Cards

Another game where I am not confident enough in either team to bet on the result. Chelsea have lost five from six in all competitions and Man United have won three, lost two and drawn one from their last half dozen outings. The visitors will be looking to bounce back after a home defeat to Leeds United on Monday.

Last weekend I had a win when betting on Chelsea to get over 2.5 cards against Manchester City. The Blues racked up three yellow cards in that encounter and have averaged 2.59 cards per game, a Premier League high. I have combined this with BTTS. Both sides have found the net in 63% of Chelsea’s matches and in 75% of Man United’s. This rises to 88% for the Red Devils’ away games.
