Igor Thiago spearheads my Saturday Premier League Acca, this weekend, as I look to bounce back from the highs and lows of that ridiculous Champions League affair in Paris during the midweek.
In that match, my three-leg PSG v Bayern bet builder missed by just a couple of corners, which, had that game taken place on this planet, would have landed comfortably if not for every shot finding the back of the net.
I'm not going to let that knock my confidence, though. So, here's three more selections for Saturday's matches, including something that landed for me last week, and they're packing some serious value.
TL;DR – My Premier League Acca Tips for Saturday May 2nd

Brentford vs West Ham: Igor Thiago Over 1.5 Fouls
I avoided 1X2 on this one as Brentford, who are in the European race, have dropped points in recent weeks and West Ham have climbed out of the relegation zone on the back of encouraging form since the turn of the year. This one could go either way. On Monday, I backed Igor Thiago to commit over 1.5 fouls as part of my bet builder for the Bees’ visit to Old Trafford. This bet came in with the forward being whistled up three times. Alongside his impressive goalscoring record, the Brazilian has averaged 1.97 fouls per 90 minutes across the season, so I am backing him to commit at least two fouls on Saturday.
Wolves vs Sunderland: Double Chance Wolves or Draw
Wolves’ relegation to the Championship was confirmed on the 20th April, but their early season form was so poor that they were resigned to their fate at Christmas. Rob Edwards has overseen something of an improvement, and the team are playing for their futures, either at Molineux or elsewhere. Sunderland have a chance to qualify for Europe, but their performance in a 5-0 home defeat to Nottingham Forest, one of three losses in their last six, was a severe blow to those ambitions.
I am backing Wolves to get a win or a draw. Sunderland have only won four times on the road this season, scoring 13 times in 17 games. Wolves are unbeaten in three of their last five home fixtures in the Premier League, which includes a win against Liverpool and respectable 2-2 draw with Arsenal. That's enough to give me confidence that Wolves can avoid a defeat here.
Arsenal vs Fulham: Arsenal to Win to Nil
Title contenders Arsenal ground out a 1-0 win over Newcastle United last weekend, and I am anticipating a similar performance against Fulham. The Gunners have only shipped 11 goals at home this season, winning 13 from 17. Fulham scored 16 times in 17 away matches, losing nine times, winning four and drawing four. Arsenal’s defensive strength has been the foundation of their title challenge. With the little matter of a Champions League semi-final against Atletico Madrid to consider on Tuesday, I am expecting them to produce an unspectacular performance where they get themselves ahead and then keep it tight.
