How I Rated LuckLand

When reviewing LuckLand I created my own account, deposited real funds, and made a selection of bets to be able to generally experience the site as a punter.

On a more personal note, I’m a huge fan of many sports, so I made sure to test to see if they offer competitive odds, and in-depth markets. I also love a promotion, so, I kept an eye on those too!

LuckLand’s registration process is one of the simplest ones I’ve filled out, with only two pages to go through. It’s straightforward to complete, and it immediately directs you towards making your first deposit.

Step 1: Click ‘Join’

It all starts with a click. Once you enter the LuckLand site, you’ll be able to begin the registration process by clicking on the ‘Join’ button on the top right of your screen. A pop-up will appear in the centre, and you’ll need to input some basic info:

Step 2: Add in Your Details

The second step is where you’ll need to input most of your personal information. You’ll need to include your name, gender, birthday, address, and contact number. If you have a bonus code, this is the time to include it!

Before selecting ‘Open Account’ you will need to choose whether or not you would like to receive bonus information, and lastly, read and accept the terms, the privacy and cookie policy, and verify that you are 18+.

Step 3: Verification

Once your account is created, you’ll need to verify your info.

LuckLand will send you an email where you’ll need to click the link to verify your account.

Next, you’ll be required to add two forms of identification, namely your address and proof of identity. This pop-up will appear at the top of your screen.

Clicking ‘Upload Documents’ will take you to the tab, as seen below.

At this stage, you’ll need to provide one piece of identification for each section – there are a few options for document which you can give in.

Once you select your documents, click ‘Upload’ and you should be all set.

The documents will be processed in about a minute, and once they are, you can officially start depositing, betting and withdrawing winnings.

How To Deposit Funds To LuckLand

Step 1: Initiating your deposit

To get the process started, click on the ‘Cashier’ button in your account, and head on to ‘Deposit’.

Step 2: Select your payment method

On the left-hand side, you’ll find a list of payment methods to choose from.

The minimum amount you can deposit is £10.There are a a decent number of payment method to choose from, but you cryptocurrencies aren’t available yet.

The funds should be added within a minute.

Step 3: Deposit £15 to redeem your welcome offer

Remember that to be able to redeem LuckLand’s welcome offer, you’ll need to bet at least £15. Make sure to deposit this amount so that you can get to betting straight away.

The £25 token shouldn’t take longer than a few hours to appear in your account.

How To Place a Bet

Placing a bet on LuckLand is straightforward and can be done without any fuss.

You’ll just need to select what you’d like to bet on, and your betslip will pop up at the bottom of your screen.

In the example below, I placed a £10 bet on Chelsea and Arsenal to beat Luton Town and Fulham. Something I really liked was that I could switch between singles, accas, and system bets.

Withdrawing Funds from LuckLand

Step 1: Open the Cashier

The LuckLand withdrawal process starts off the same way as when you deposit – by clicking the ‘Cashier’ button. From there you need to select the option to withdraw your winnings.

Step 2: Select your Withdrawal Method

From a dropdown list, you’ll need to select the same method as the one you chose to deposit with. This is because LuckLand follow a Closed Loop Policy like many other bookies do.

Fill in the details of that method and click ‘Cash Out Request’.

Step 3: Receive Your Funds

All that’s left now is to wait. Different methods vary in time. If a day more than what we have indicated has passed and you still haven’t received your funds, make sure to contact customer support to sort out any issues.

Sports

LuckLand have proved that they can compete with the big boys, offering 35 different sports to bet on. Besides the obvious classics, LuckLand feature pesapallo, stock car racing, and badminton, to name but a few.

The same can be said for the depth in markets on the biggest events, rivalling many of the established operators in many sports. Football in particular has some brilliant markets.

LuckLand’s margins aren’t the best we’ve seen, but they’re definitely far from the worst with an average of a 6% on most events.

Moreover, the maximum stake you can bet is a very generous £10,000,000.

It’s a similar story for outright markets, which offer formidable depth and range with reasonably decent odds. Having said that, if you’re looking to bet on specials, you’re out of luck, as the only one available at the time of writing is for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year.

Esports

LuckLand offer 11 different games to bet on, including classics like Dota 2, CS:GO, and Overwatch, as well as more niche titles such as VALORANT, Kings of Glory, and StarCraft.

Each option offers many events and games to bet on, with decent markets in most cases. Overall, the quality is pretty good; the only drawback is the relatively high 8% betting margin. The maximum stake is again a whopping £10 million.

Finally, they offer outright markets as well livestreaming on the biggest events, the latter of which is great for in-play betting.

Other Specials

LuckLand’s specials section is quite extensive with four categories to delve into: politics, music, sports, and entertainment. Each area offers a number of events and markets, and these may vary depending on upcoming events.

• Politics: Their biggest section, the main markets right now are the UK and US elections including winning parties, new leaders, and more.
• Music: You can bet on the upcoming Mercury Prize, which is an award for the best album released in the UK. The odds are quite competitive too.
• Sports: No, I’m not talking about sports betting – this includes betting on Ballon d’Or voting, PFA Player of the year and others. Right now, the only one available is the BBC Sports Personality of the Year.
• Entertainment: At the time of writing, the main focus is on the Emmys with markets for Best Comedy and lead actors. There’s also markets on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing winner.

Cash Out & Bet Builder

A relatively recent inclusion to the site, LuckLand offer both cash outs and bet builders. Each have their own set of terms and conditions, and we’ve already mentioned them in the promotions section, but here’s a quick rundown.

Cash outs

LuckLand’s cash out feature is relatively standard and is offered on five sports: football, tennis, basketball, cricket, and volleyball. Of course, it may not be available on every match.

Importantly, LuckLand imposes a minimum stake of £0.10 at odds of at least 1/10 for this feature. If you go below either of these criteria, however unlikely that may be, your bet won’t be eligible for cash outs.

Bet Builder

A bet builder is a perfect way to create some high-odds bets without betting on unlikely events.

At LuckLand you can make bet builders on 10 different sports, namely football, tennis, Australian rules football, American football, baseball, basketball, cricket, ice hockey, Rugby League and Rugby Union.

You can even take it a step further, combining bet builders together to make a Combo Bet. Of course, the more legs you add to a builder, the riskier it is, so make sure to find some balance to get the best value out of your bet. There’s no opt-in required, so you can just make your bets how you normally would. Here are a few more things to keep in mind:

• They are only available for pre-match bets.
• You can have up to 30 markets in a single bet builder.
• You can create combo bets by combining markets from different events.
• Cash outs may not be available on bet builders.

Live Chat Services

One of LuckLand’s highlights is their ability to help out customers. Their live chat option in particular is extremely fast and informative.

They were quick to answer my queries and provide support when needed. It’s important to note that the live chat is available between 7:00am to 11:00pm seven days a week.

Email Services

It’s a similar story for their email service. It’s surprisingly quick and there was little back-and-forth. All they asked was to verify some details before answering any questions, but my queries were answered in about 20 minutes.

If you don’t want to download the app (or you own an Android), not to worry – the mobile friendly browser is an excellent alternative, and it’s perfect for anyone who enjoys betting on the go.

When compared to its desktop counterpart, the mobile version is just as in-depth. Interestingly, I found the latter to be much more user-friendly, with a clear, uncluttered layout that does not compromise on quality nor the amount of betting options available.

The LuckLand app is renowned to be one of the best of its kind on the market, with its casino product a particular standout.

The app is available on the App Store, and is compatible on iPhones, iPads, and iPods (if you still own one) as long as their system is iOS 11.0 or a later version. It also boasts a 4.6 rating on the Apple store.

LuckLand is an exciting up and coming sportsbook and there is a lot of potential, but it’s still a long way away from being a perfect site. There are a few design issues which aren’t replicated by the casino page, so hopefully these will be updated soon.
