Information regarding LuckLand’s payment options was hard to come across. Having said that, a £20 minimum deposit and £10 minimum withdrawal is in play for all of the bookmaker’s offered methods.
All deposits are processed instantly, while 2.5% fees are added to debit card and PayPal deposits.
The processing of debit card withdrawals varies between a matter of hours to six days. Similarly, Trustly withdrawals may take up to four days. MuchBetter and PayPal withdrawals are reliably more efficient and are processed within 48 hours of your request.
Unfortunately, we couldn’t find any information for maximum deposits and withdrawals, as well as the processing times of withdrawals for several other payment methods, including Skrill.
In addition, punters can’t use cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin to make deposits with LuckLand.
Depositing Funds
Depositing funds with LuckLand is a simple process. To begin, click the distinct ‘DEPOSIT’ icon located in the top right-hand corner of the homepage after logging in.
A drop-down list of LuckLand’s payment options will then present itself. This list can be seen in the above section.
We opted to deposit via debit card and, as expected, we were forced to enter all the basic card information – name on card, card number, expiry date and security code – before moving on.
Once that was filled out, we confirmed how much we wanted to deposit. We opted to deposit the minimum £20, which means we had to pay an extra 50p due to LuckLand’s 2.5% depositing fees.
We had another chance to enter any promo codes, but as we didn’t have any to use, we moved on and clicked ‘DEPOSIT’ at the bottom of the tab to complete the process.
Our confirmed deposit is shown above.
Withdrawing Winnings
We had funds in our LuckLand account which we wished to withdraw. To do so, we hovered over the profile icon located in the top-right hand corner of the homepage. That brought up the drop-down list shown below.
We then clicked ‘Cashout’, which then hastened the process.
Swiftly, we were brought to the above screen. To conclude the process, all we had to do was confirm our payment method and how much we wished to withdraw before clicking ‘REQUEST CASHOUT’.
However, as you can see, we were charged a £1 fee for this withdrawal, which meant only £66 of the £67 we wanted to withdraw will return to our bank account.
Our withdrawal request is shown above, and we can expect the funds to arrive in the coming hours or days.
Welcome Offer 2/5
- Bet £15 Get £25
LuckLand’s welcome bonus is a basic Bet £15 Get £25; however, they are willing to offer anyone signing up via the TPP LuckLand Offer the chance to Bet £15 and Get £25 in free bets.
Punters will earn a free £25 bet, which can be used on any sports market at odds greater than or equal to 4/5 after they place their first £15 (minimum) bet on LuckLand’s sportsbook. Your qualifying bet must boast odds of at least evens and must be settled within 14 days of placement.
It’s worth noting that PayPal, Neteller, Skrill and paysafecard deposits do not qualify for this promotion.
Sportsbook Promotions 2/5
- Limited number of current promotions
- ACCA boosts
- Reward Points Program is for non-UK players only
LuckLand’s sportsbook promotions are incredibly limited. However, the bookmaker does promise that more offers are on the horizon.
For the time being, though, the bookmaker merely boasts an ACCA boost promo for customers. With this offer, punters can have their accumulators boosted by a whopping 77%, but this boost is only in play for monster 15+-fold accas.
The boost is dependent on the number of selections. So, for example, a 4-fold is boosted by 4%, while a 6-fold is boosted by 10%.
Unfortunately, this is the only current sports offer of any note.
VIP/Loyalty Programme
LuckLand currently doesn’t boast a VIP or Loyalty programme for its UK customers. In addition, the bookmaker’s Reward Points Program is currently available for only non-UK players.
Pre-Match Offer 3/5
- Broad enough sportsbook
- Fair odds
- Simple betting process
- Superb Eurovision coverage
Approximately 30 sports make up LuckLand’s sportsbook, and punters can access a wide variety of events, leagues, tournaments, markets and sub-markets within each sport offered. Niche and the most popular sports are covered by the bookmaker.
Their football coverage is broad. For the most popular fixtures, over 300 markets can be utilised, and at the time of writing, there were over 1,000 events available to bet on. Despite the lack of promotions, there’s still a multitude of options for football bettors to enjoy.
While their football coverage is pretty broad, the bookie’s odds are the most crucial element here, and to measure the quality of LuckLand’s margins we used the odds overround.
The overround is a calculation that combines the total percentage probability of all selections in a match coming true. Naturally, the result of this should come to 100% – however, this does not factor in the profits made by the bookmaker. For this reason, it is widely accepted that any figure below 110% is considered to indicate fair odds.
We picked three games at random from the Premier League, Ligue 1 and Eredivisie that returned margins of 105.12%, 104.79% and 106.33% respectively. Thus, LuckLand’s margins are both consistent and fair.
Punters can choose to display their odds as fractions, decimals or American, while both the minimum and maximum stakes are bet-dependent.
Placing a Bet With LuckLand
We wanted to place a football bet with LuckLand. So, to begin, we accessed the football tab located down the left-hand side of the homepage – where the entirety of the bookmaker’s sportsbook can be accessed.
We scanned the available leagues before selecting the Coppa Italia final between Juventus and Inter Milan over in Italy. There were 357 markets available for this contest, but we opted to keep it simple and stick to the final outcome.
Thus, we backed a draw after 90 minutes at odds of 47/20. As soon as we clicked the odds, the bet went straight into our bet slip (seen below) – located on the right-hand side of the page.
We staked £20 on this bet to return £67. To complete the process, we merely had to click ‘PLACE BETS!’.
Our bet took a few seconds to process before we received confirmation.
Esports
LuckLand’s esports coverage is poorly displayed, leaving us to search for the bookmaker’s options via the search bar. The results showed that the bookmaker has previously offered markets for a multitude of games, including Counter-Strike, Overwatch, Dota 2, Rocket League, League of Legends and StarCraft.
There were Counter-Strike events available at the time of writing, as well as FIFA and NBA games. However, their in-play coverage is extremely limited. In most instances, we weren’t able to place a live bet, with their pre-match coverage rather sub-par. Markets are often restricted to match outcome.
Be sure to check out our esports betting tips if you want to improve your chances of winning at esports betting!
Other Specials
The bookmaker’s Eurovision coverage is perhaps the broadest and most impressive we’ve seen. For the 2022 edition, there were 39 different Eurovision markets available to bet on, including for the winners of each semi-final as well as the overall winner. Markets such as top Nordic nation were also offered.
LuckLand’s political coverage is limited to the UK and US. Political bettors can punt on the next US presidential election, as well as various UK markets such as the next party leaders, and who will win the most seats at the next general election.
Cash Out & Bet Builder
You can take full control of your bets with LuckLand’s Cash Out and Partial Cash Out features. The bookmaker does not have a Bet Builder feature, though.
Live Offer 2/5
- Sufficient markets
- Lack of in-play features that enhance experience
- No live streaming
LuckLand’s live offering is accessible via the In-Play tab located on the left-hand side of the homepage. At the time of writing, there were 17 live football events available for customers to bet on.
The bookmaker’s live coverage is sufficient, with various in-play markets available even for less popular matches. However, there are no added features that are typically offered by other bookmakers. For example, there isn’t a match tracker, nor are there any live statistics. In our view, this is a let-down.
Moreover, there is no live streaming service.
Security 3.5/5
- Several betting licences
- Strong emphasis on responsible gambling
- Account limits & unofficial self-assessment test
LuckLand is operated by Aspire Global International Limited, a Malta-based company that hold an Irish betting licence and is regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority. In the UK, the games on LuckLand are operated by AG Communications Limited, which is licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission.
The bookmaker places a strong emphasis on responsible gambling, with a dedicated page accessible via a couple of links at the bottom of the homepage. A variety of topics are discussed here, including the protection of minors, preventing compulsive gambling, and problematic gambling. Advice is also provided on how to keep your gambling under control, with links to external websites and sources of help provided.
Account limits are in place to help keep your betting with LuckLand in check. You can set Deposit Limits, Session Limits and Autoplay Limits. Reality Checks, Time-Outs and Self-Exclusion can also be deployed if necessary. An unofficial self-assessment test is also included in the responsible gambling section so you can gauge the patterns of your gambling behaviour.
For those concerned with what the bookmaker is doing with your data, comprehensive Privacy and Security policies are accessible to view on the website.
Service & Customer Support 4/5
- Two avenues of communication – email & live chat
- Helpful FAQ section
- Brilliant support staff
- No 24/7 service
You’ll be able to find LuckLand’s comprehensive FAQ section under the ‘Getting Started’ header at the bottom of the homepage. The most common queries are listed first, before the bookmaker splits the section into eight different sections. Privacy and Cashing Out are among the topics covered here, with numerous issues covered in each.
However, if you require further help even after scanning through the bookmaker’s rigoruous FAQ section, you can contact LuckLand via email and Live Chat. These services are in operation every day between 08:00 and 00:00 (CET).
We decided to test out LuckLand’s Live Chat service ourselves by clicking the icon shown above in the FAQ section. Our session began immediately, although it took a couple of minutes for an agent to connect.
Once connected, we asked whether LuckLand currently had a VIP/loyalty programme for customers.
Swiftly, we received a response that perfectly answered our query.
The agent said that VIP membership with LuckLand isn’t available in the UK, before adding that we would be receiving an email soon regarding upcoming offers.
After answering our question succinctly and efficiently, the agent asked whether there was anything else they could help us with. We politely declined.
Overall, our experience with LuckLand’s support staff was brilliant. The agent was incredibly helpful, solving our query rapidly and even wishing us luck with our betting!
Design & Usability 2/5
- Basic design
- Inconsistent technical performance
- No blogs nor statistics
The first thing we have to note here is the technical inconsistency of LuckLand’s website. It was infuriating at times. During some sessions, everything ran smoothly, but there were other periods where the site was simply unusable due to woeful response time. However, such inconsistency can be expected from a new website.
In terms of design, LuckLand’s is one we’ve seen from plenty of new bookmakers. A predominantly blue-and-white colour scheme is followed throughout, while the structure is simple but coherent. It’s easy to navigate when the technical performance is clean.
The bookie’s sportsbook is accessible down the left-hand side, with markets and events dominating the centre. Your bet slip is ubiquitous on the right-hand side, while help and information links are found at the bottom of the page.
However, the design of the bookmaker’s advertisements is poor. They look gimmicky and are beyond primitive. Moreover, we’re not a fan of multiple odds being displayed on the main list of events. For example, for football matches, LuckLand displays both the under/over goals and next goal markets alongside the typical match outcome odds, which we find to be a little bit messy.
LuckLand does not have a blog, nor are there any accessible statistics.
Mobile
LuckLand currently does not have a mobile app of any kind for customers to download, at the time of writing.
Other Products
LuckLand is primarily a casino product, which is denoted by their logo (a casino chip). Thus, you’d expect their casino coverage to be superior to their sportsbook, and there is certainly a greater emphasis placed upon promotions and offers.
There is currently a ‘Hacksaw’ tournament in which players compete to win a £5,000 cash pool. Their casino welcome package, meanwhile, gifts new customers a 100% deposit boost (up to £50) and 50 free spins on a selected game.
Overall, LuckLand’s casino product is a decent one. There are a sufficient number of games, with the typical variety offered. Thus, punters can play slots, jackpots, and table games, as well as live casino games such as blackjack and roulette.
ThePuntersPage Final Say 3/5
We have to appreciate that LuckLand is a newly emerging bookmaker looking to make its way into the industry. Thus, flaws are expected, and we will be hoping they iron out a few of them soon.
The bookie has offered TPP readers a great welcome offer; however, the user experience is far from the smoothest. The deposit and withdrawal fees are quite a turn-off considering the overall quality of the product. Thankfully, they’ve got a brilliant customer support service which can help you out whenever you’re stuck.
For the time being, we believe that there’s a good number of better sports betting sites out there that are more worth your time.
