Now let’s look at each fixture to see why we think that these bets will come in.
Bet 1: Bournemouth vs Brighton, BTTS Yes and Over 2.5 Goals (10/11)
It may be early days in the 2025/26 Premier League season but when you look at the first three matches of the season, as well as last season’s record, everything suggests that this match could produce goals. Bournemouth have scored in each of their games and in total have scored four and conceded the same number. Brighton have scored three times and conceded four in their opening matches.
However, when you use our stats hub to look at data over a longer period of time it gives a stronger suggestion of goals at both ends. Last season Brighton topped the table for BTTS, with this occurring in 71% of their matches. Bournemouth were sixth in this metric with both sides finding the net in 61% of their fixtures. Brighton also topped the charts for over 2.5 goals with this happening in 71% of their games. There were over 2.5 goals in 55% of Bournemouth’s matches last season. Although there have, naturally, been changes over the summer both clubs have the same manager and a similar philosophy this season. We think that this bet will get the acca off to a positive start.
Bet 2: Everton vs Aston Villa, Jack Grealish to Score or Assist (7/5)
A lot of people will take a speculative punt on a player scoring when they face their old club. However, there is more substance behind this bet. Jack Grealish has started his Everton career with four assists in two starts and a substitute appearance. Grealish has had four shots, one of which was on target.
The England international appears to have found a new lease of life this season and given that Villa have conceded four in their last two games we are backing him to come back to haunt his old club.
Bet 3: Fulham vs Leeds United, Under 2.5 Goals (4/5)
Fulham have found goals hard to come by this season with two scored in their opening three matches of the season. All of their games have featured less than 2.5 goals. Leeds have only scored once. Despite shipping five at Arsenal the Yorkshire side has looked quite solid, managing to keep two clean sheets. We are expecting a tight affair with goals at a premium.
Bet 4: Brentford vs Chelsea, Over 2.5 Goals (8/11)
In contrast to the previous bet, we are expecting plenty of goals across West London in the Premier League’s Saturday evening fixture. Chelsea have banged in seven goals in their opening three games while Brentford have scored in each of their three games but have conceded five in the process. We expect Chelsea to have too much for their hosts, and we see a fairly comfortable away win. That said, we are not ruling out the possibility of Brentford getting on the scoresheet. We are expecting three goals or more.
