Let’s look at our three bets in a little more detail to see why we think they offer great value.
Atlético Madrid (W) vs Man United (W): Man United to Win and BTTS (7/2)
While this is a potentially difficult trip for the Red Devils, we expect them to have too much for Atlético. Man United come into this one on the back of a 4-1 win away to Everton. Recent away wins at Liverpool in the league and Vålerenga in the Champions League suggest that they have the resilience to go to the Spanish capital and come away with something.
Atleti are struggling for consistency with their last two fixtures ending 6-0. One a win against St. Pölten, the other a defeat to Barcelona. This adds weight to our theory that there will be goals at both ends and, with Manchester United showing greater defensive strength and consistency, we think that, at 7/2 with bet365, they are great value to win a game with goals at both ends.
Benfica (W) vs Arsenal (W): BTTS – Yes (1/1)
Data from our stats hub reveals that in five out of Arsenal Women’s seven matches this season, both teams have scored. Furthermore, this has been the case in Benfica’s last six matches across all competitions. 85.7% of the Portuguese side’s previous seven games have seen three goals or more.
We think Arsenal will win but there is real value in the BTTS market. The stats tell us that odds of evens are generous.
PSG (W) vs Real Madrid (W): Over 2.5 Goals and BTTS (4/5)
Goals and plenty of them have been a theme of this acca, and our final match is no exception. PSG have been in imperious form in France, including a 5-2 win over Nantes but shipped four goals without reply on Matchday 1 of the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Madrid have rattled in 17 goals in their last five matches in all competitions. Despite PSG’s defeat to Wolfsberg we are expecting a close match, which is likely to finish up as a draw or be decided by one goal. Looking at the data, we predict that there will be goals at both ends and a few of them. Both teams scoring and at least three goals is what we expect.
