The first North London derby of the season kicks off at the Emirates on Sunday, with Arsenal hosting bitter rivals Tottenham. A win for Arsenal would see them extend their lead over Spurs to 11 points as they continue to march towards their first Premier League title for 22 years.

Arsenal vs Tottenham Bet Builder Tips 23 November 2025
Arsenal vs Tottenham bet builder tips

On paper, it looks like the closest game between the two sides in several years. The Gunners have the second-best home record in the league (4W, 1D) while Spurs have the best away record (4W, 1D). But the bookies suggest otherwise, pricing the 1×2 heavily in Arsenal’s favour (21/50) with Tottenham a rank outsider at 13/2 (15/4 for the draw).

Bet 1: Tottenham +1.5 Asian Handicap – 4/6

It’s hard to look at 13/2 for Tottenham to win and not be tempted. It feels like a massive price in a game that should be competitive, especially in a derby as fierce as this one. Their record at the Emirates, however, stinks: just one win in 11 across all competitions, and you start to understand the bookies’ thinking.

But a way to get involved in this is to use the Asian handicap. Kickform’s Arsenal vs Tottenham betting stats suggest that Spurs would have won every league game this season with a +1.5 handicap and 17 from 18 in all competitions.

We can also see that Arsenal have failed to cover the margin in seven out of 11 games. That’s huge for a club who are perched at the top of the league, suggesting most of their wins have been close, rather than emphatic. Dialling this back into head-to-heads, Spurs have covered +1.5 in 17 from 22 in all competitions and seven out of 11 at the Emirates.

With big players missing and a little more uncertainty around Arsenal following a surprise 2-2 draw at Sunderland last time out, +1.5 at 4/6 looks a strong bet in what could be a close game.

Bet 2: First Half with Most Goals – 11/5

The distribution of goals between each half has been relatively even for both teams this season. Arsenal have scored 11/25 (44%) in the first half, with 14/25 (56%) in the second.

Spurs have a slight flip on this, with 15 of their 29 coming in the first half (52%) and 14 of 29 in the second (48%). There’s nothing too crazy here in terms of the data, apart from when we look closer at the head-to-heads.

In the last five Premier League meetings between the two sides, 10 of 15 goals have come in the first half. It suggests that games fly out of the blocks before becoming a little more subdued in the second half.

And if we extend the data further to the last 10 North London derbies, the first half has yielded 21 goals, whereas the second has just 10. Seven of these matches had the most goals in the first half, with just one in the second and two being equal.

We’ve got odds of 11/5 for most goals in the first half. This is a 31.3% implied probability, based on a market that has landed in the last 70% of games. Huge value.

Bet 3: Both Teams to Score Yes – 21/20

We’re cautiously drifting toward the both teams to score market for our third and final pick.

However, only 20% of Arsenal’s home games and 40% of Tottenham’s away games have landed for BTTS. You’d be forgiven for thinking the play would surely be BTTS No, but we’re going against this. And for good reason.

Head-to-head BTTS numbers show that seven of the last 11 league games have landed BTTS yes. If we narrow this down to just Premier League games at the Emirates, it improves to a 100% record, landing in each of the last seven meetings between the teams.

We’re getting odds of 21/20 here and a 67% BTTS Yes rating from Kickform stats. With Arsenal struggling at the back, but still strong going forward, BTTS yes, has to be the value play and the final part of our Arsenal vs Tottenham bet builder.

Both teams are plagued by injuries, with Mikel Arteta confirming they will be without Gabriel and potentially Riccardo Calafiori, forcing them into a makeshift backline that has been rock-solid so far this season. On top of that, Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz, Noni Madueke, Martin Ødegaard, Gabriel Martinelli, and Viktor Gyökeres are all expected to miss the game.

For Spurs, it’s a little more positive as Lucas Bergvall, Archie Gray, Mo Kudus, Randal Kolo Muani and Pape Matar Sarr are all available. James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, Dominic Solanke and Yves Bissouma won’t feature, which balances the books a little in terms of the injury head-to-head.
