A few big deals were completed last week, most notably Conor Gallagher’s move to Tottenham for £34m and Marc Guehi’s arrival at Manchester City for £20m. Rumours still flourish though, with a number of Premier League clubs still looking to strengthen this month. We have the top names and associated odds.
January Transfers – Bowen, Sterling & Strand Larsen Next Club Odds
We have less than two weeks to go before the latest Premier League transfer window slams shut. With Wolves and West Ham struggling, two of their stars could be looking for new horizons, while a former England regular may be making more of a hop than a long transfer journey.
We’re highlighting the best available odds from our top online bookmakers for some of the more high-profile potential transfer moves.
Hammers Skipper Ready for Next Phase?
Has Jarrod Bowen done as much as he can at West Ham? The struggling London side will do well to avoid relegation now, and, if they go down, it won’t be because of the former Hull City man. There are tentative bets being placed on him to leave this month.
| Jarrod Bowen Next Club | Odds | Bookmaker |
|---|---|---|
| Liverpool | 9/2 | William Hill |
| Tottenham | 7/1 | William Hill |
| Newcastle | 8/1 | William Hill |
William Hill were first to post odds on Bowen’s potential departure, and it’ll be interesting to see if this market heats up.

Fulham Tempted by Sterling Swoop
Raheem Sterling, capped 82 times by England, managed just 17 Premier League appearances on loan at Arsenal last season and zero games this term for Chelsea. A move away from Stamford Bridge is surely inevitable, with the Blues’ near neighbours being favourites for his signature.
To add context here, bet365’s odds are inflated as they include the possibility of Sterling staying at Chelsea. The ex-Liverpool winger is as short as 6/5 with William Hill and 11/10 with BetVictor to join the Cottagers this month.

Strand Larsen Ready to Flee the Pack
Like West Ham, Wolves are in a bad position in the league. In their case, relegation to the Championship seems all but certain. Betting on their striker Jorgen Strand Larsen to jump ship this month is now gaining traction, with Leeds leading the chase to get him on board.

| Leeds | 7/4 | bet365 |

More Transfer Dominoes Waiting to Fall
Since we offered odds last week, there hasn’t been a lot of movement on a potential deal away from Man United for Kobbie Mainoo. He’s as short as even money to head to Napoli with William Hill, but now that Michael Carrick is in the Old Trafford hot seat, the “free Kobbie Mainoo” banners may be lowered for a while.
Trent Alexander-Arnold’s time so far at Real Madrid hasn’t exactly been a roaring success. Former club Liverpool are 15/2 to sign him back, with Newcastle and Man United both 4/1 with William Hill to get in on the act.
Betting has been introduced on Adam Wharton leaving Crystal Palace, though with 8/1 the lowest priced club, there is nothing concrete regarding his future just yet. Tottenham’s turmoil seems to be increasing, and their star defender Micky van de Ven is as short as 2/1 to join Liverpool. Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are 4/1 and 5/1 respectively with William Hill.
These markets can change very quickly as soon as interest in a player is publicly registered by a club. For now, the top clubs appear to be keeping the majority of their cards very close to their chests.
