Ey up! The Darts Premier League roadshow travels back up north this week as the eight best players on the planet go head-to-head at the First Direct Bank Arena (catchy) in Leeds. The top four in the table are all in the top half of the draw this week, so the guys below will be hopeful of making some ground up. Bets are placed, game on.

Game 1 – Gerwyn Price vs Jonny Clayton Betting Predictions – Over 9.5 Legs
World Cup of Darts teammates Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton face off in the opener at Leeds, and for me, the tie of the round. Keen followers of my Darts Premier League tips will know that I’ve been backing Clayton to the hilt this season, while, for some reason, the bookies have been sleeping on him.
Their loss has been my gain, and with the Ferret sitting second in the league and all but qualified for finals night, he’s still a good price to back all the way, even with Littler starting to accelerate through the gears.
Unfortunately for Clayton, Price is turning into a bit of a bogey player. The pair are good friends off the oche, but there are no niceties on stage, with Price winning all but one of their last 13 head-to-heads.
I think the Iceman has the edge here, but I don’t love backing him at 4/7. Instead, I’m opting for a close game and over 9.5 legs at evens with BetMGM. Both players are right on the 50% mark this season in covering the line, and as far as head-to-heads go, this one is well-matched based on current form.
Game 2 – Luke Littler vs Michael van Gerwen Odds and Predictions– Over 9.5 Legs
Sid Waddell always said that one of the easiest ways to tell the good from the greats is timing. That’s always stuck with me as it’s true for any sport.
Man City’s famous Aguero moment to win the Premier League in 2012, Ian Poulter holing that putt in the Miracle at Medinah, Rory McIlroy slinging that seven iron around the trees on the par 5 15th to win his first Masters in 2025. It’s all timing that leads to greatness.
For me, Luke Littler is quickly making timing a huge asset as he ascends to greatness in the darting world. He got off to a slow start in the 2026 Darts Premier League, but has now won four of the last seven nights and is sitting pretty at the top of the league. This is greatness, ladies and gentlemen, whether you’re a fan of the Nuke or not.
He takes on MVG on Thursday night, and while there are no easy games, the Green Machine's inconsistencies and the fact that Littler is ramping up suggest another win for Luke. That will make it six out of the last eight matches between the two. Exactly the kind of hoodoo MVG used to have over his opponents.
I’m going for another tight game, however, and once again, backing over 9.5 legs, this time at 5/4 with Coral.
Game 3 – Josh Rock vs Luke Humphries Betting Tips – Humphries to Score Most 180s
It was great to see Luke Humphries return to some kind of form last week. He badly needed a run, and to be honest, probably needs at least one nightly win if he’s going to make the top four now.
He’ll be licking his lips this week with a favourable draw keeping him away from Price, Clayton, Littler and Van Gerwen until the final. He’s priced at 4/1 and would be my pick to win and get on the board this week.
But for this game, I’m backing him to outscore Rock on the 180s. He had the most last week (10) and has out-180’d his opponent in more games than any other player (73%). His scoring has been good all season, with an average of 100.52, bettered only by Littler, but he needs to convert those doubles to get back on track.
Game 4 – Gian van Veen vs Stephen Bunting – Over 8.5 Legs
After Gian van Veen’s fast start to his debut Premier League season, it’s all been a bit after the Lord Mayor’s show these past few weeks. He’s dropped outside of the top four and comes into the game following a poor showing against Humphries in last week’s semi-final.
I’ve got no confidence in taking him on at the ludicrous price of 13/20 to beat Stephen Bunting on Thursday. He was soundly beaten by the Bullet on Night 4 in Belfast, and there’s nothing to suggest he warrants that price at all.
I’m bailing on the game a little bit here, and I’m going to go for over 8.5 legs at 4/11 with bet365. As a single bet, I don’t love it at all, but it does give a nice boost as part of an acca, and I think while the game could be scrappy, it should be close, so I’ll take that boost and just ride with it for the sake of increasing the odds slightly.
