Premier League Darts Betting Odds – Night 9: Manchester
A third nightly win for Luke Littler has seen The Nuke rocket up to the top of the Premier League table. An imperious sight for those in the chasing pack. Night 9 rolls into Manchester as we pass the halfway mark of the season, with the likes of Luke Humphries and Gian van Veen desperate for a win as they sit outside of the top four.
MVG to get back to winning ways
We're trying hard to look beyond Luke Littler's dominance to see where the value lies this week. MVG returned to some of his early Premier League form last week and made yet another final. He's on the other side of the draw to Littler this week, and at odds of 8/1 with Unibet, he looks the value play.

Premier League Darts Tips
Let’s not beat around the bush here, Luke Littler is coming into the 2026 Premier League in imperious form after winning the Darts World Championship and propelling himself to world number one in the process.
He’s odds-on to win his second Premier League title, and it would be tough to argue with anyone backing him on the outright betting market to continue this incredible run. But for our Premier League darts tips this year, we’re thinking outside the box and seeing if or who could cause an upset.
Gerwyn Price to Finish Top Four – 11/10
Gezzy will be frustrated with his showing in the World Championships. He was on course to meet Littler in the latter rounds, but shockingly lost to Wesley Paislier in the second round to send the Ice Man crashing out.
He’s got a decent record in the Premier League and was runner-up in 2023, so getting around even money for him to finish top four looks a big price – no pun intended. He’ll likely have to displace one of Gian van Veen or Josh Rock, but they’re both making their debuts in the tournament and playing 16 weeks on the bounce can be gruelling. We’re backing him to get into some form here, and a top-four finish is the play.
Gian van Veen to Make the Final – 13/8
We know, we’ve just said that making the transition to the 16-week schedule can be tough for newbies like Gian van Veen, but by God is this kid special. If it wasn’t for Luke Littler exploding onto the scene, van Veen would be who everyone was talking about this year.
Granted, he made the final of the World Championships, so he’s not a nobody by any means, but he’s certainly in the shadows of the likes of Littler, which seems to suit. 2026 is going to be a huge year for the Giant, and we’re backing him to have a great run at the Premier League, taking him on at 13/8 to make the final.
Stephen Bunting to Finish Bottom – 6/4
It was a bit of a shock to see Stephen Bunting get a wildcard pick this year. The Bullet has a cult following among fans, but his form has been dire in 2025, making just one TV quarterfinal and struggling throughout the Premier League.
Looking at the calibre of players this year, it’s tough to see where Bunting picks up wins, and his Premier League darts odds to finish bottom are screaming out to us at 6/4. It’ll likely come down to him and Jonny Clayotn for the wooden spoon, but the Bullet to misfire is our play.

BetMGM are the best in the business
Jonathan Askew: I’m a sucker for following the lead sponsors when it comes to darts betting. BetMGM have the rights for the Premier League, and their coverage is second to none. I love the boosted nightly acca bets and the fact that they have incredibly low margins, so their odds are right up there. It’s not the best for live betting – I’d go with bet365 for this – but for variety when it comes to pre-game bets, they’re elite and also ranked amongst our best betting sites.
Popular Premier League Darts Betting Markets
Whenever the bigger tournaments set away, the bookies come out to play. Market coverage will be much higher than most tournaments, and we’ve got a list of the best betting markets to look out for in 2026.
Bet on the player you think will win the trophy at the end of the tournament. Note that this is not settled in the league phase, but instead at finals night.
This market is all about picking someone to finish in the top four spots in the group. It’s an important group as the four will advance to the finals night.
As the name suggests, this market is about who wins the league phase. This is not necessarily the overall winner.
Bet on the player you think will win the night. It’s a mini-tournament format, so there’s always a winner for each week.
The player who has the most night wins at the end of the tournament.
A simple yes/no market: who will make the finals night?
Bet on two players to go head-to-head and pick which one finishes higher in the league.
A simple over or under market where you pick how many nights wins an individual player has.
Select how many maximums (180s) a player scored throughout the tournament. This is usually an over/under line.
Additional Premier League Darts Insights
Looking to make your own darts Premier League picks? We’ve got you. In this section, we’ve included the latest trends, sports betting strategies, players to watch and schedule to show you where to find those sweet value bets for 2026.
Premier League Darts Latest Trends
From the 21 editions of the Premier League, there have been nine different winners and only three who have won it more than once (Michael van Gerwen – 7, Phil Taylor – 6 and Gary Anderson – 2). Taylor and van Gerwen account for 13/21 titles (61.9%), suggesting it can be dominated by one era-defining star at a time. Luke Littler, anyone?
There have been 19 nine-dart finishes, and on average, they have occurred in 10 of the 21 seasons. In 2025, there was a record five, and who can forget Gerwyn Price hitting two in the same season? Given the quality this year, that number could be topped as the “perfect leg” isn’t all that rare anymore.
Key Players to Watch
Our key players section isn’t necessarily linked to their Premier League darts odds, but more a handful of notables who will have an effect in some way on the markets this season.
Luke Littler
He’s the current world number one and Darts World Champion, and all eyes are on the Nuke to see if he can keep this incredible form going. Littler will be a short-priced favourite in every game this season, so how much value there’ll be in his markets will be questionable. For most of his career, he’s been paired with Luke Humphries as the two best in the world, but if we’re being honest, he’s out there on his own. A strong favourite for 2026 and the man to beat.
Luke Humphries
On his day, Luke Humphries is right up there with Littler, but his form has dropped a little in 2025. He comes into this year's Premier League as reigning champion, and we know a lot of you will be looking at betting odds for Premier League darts of 5/1 and fancying a bit of that. We couldn’t blame you, to be honest, but he needs to find the consistency he had in 2024 to mount a strong defence this year, given the quality of the opposition.
Michael van Gerwen
The Dutchman has been very much Mr Premier League throughout his career, winning the title a record seven times. But his form has been inconsistent at best, and his Premier League darts betting odds of 16/1 to win it have possibly never been higher. We’re not sure that his head’s in the right space to battle it out at the top of his game for 16 weeks, but at the same time, if anyone can turn it around, it’s MVG.

Premier League Darts Line Up
The announcement of the Premier League lineup is always hotly anticipated, following the Darts World Championships. Most of the names were locked in, but there was one surprise, and that was the return of Stephen Bunting, who finished bottom last year and hasn’t made a TV quarter-final appearance for the whole of 2025.
Many believed that Danny Noppart or James Wade were more deserving, but it’s one of those cases where you can’t please all the people, all the time. Here’s the full eight-strong lineup and their world ranking heading into the 2026 Darts Premier League:
-
Luke Littler — World No. 1
-
Luke Humphries — World No. 2
