It’s Night 13 from Aberdeen in the Darts Premier League, and with less than a month to go until finals night, the pressure to perform is starting to ramp up. The betting markets look like they’ve been kind this week, and I’ve got four bets where I think the bookies might have missed a trick, paying a decent 23/2 with BetMGM. Game on.

Josh Rock vs Luke Littler – Over 6.5 180s

Before a dart was thrown in the 2026 Premier League, I backed Josh Rock to continue his rise through the world rankings and have a sizeable impact on this year's competition. He’s got all the hallmarks of a future multi-major winner, but unfortunately for Rocky and my bet slip, it’s not panned out that way.

He’s won just four matches so far, and it looks like the relentless schedule of the Premier League has taken its toll. To make matters worse, he comes up against last week’s winner, Luker Littler, in Aberdeen on Thursday, 30 April, an opponent he’s lost each of his last seven head-to-heads to.

Littler is, understandably, a big favourite to win this, and priced as short as 2/7 in places with the best darts betting sites. There’s not much to get excited about there, so instead I’m jumping across to the 180 market.

There’s value in betting on the over 6.5 total 180s here. Little has covered the line in 14 of 24 matches played and has games in each of the last three weeks, hitting 7+. Getting even money with BetMGM looks a big price, so I’m happy to take this on for our opener.

Stephen Bunting vs Gerwyn Price – Price -1.5 Handicap

I’m trying not to overthink this game too much. I backed Gerwyn Price at the start of the tournament to make the final four, and he’s well on track for that. I also backed Stephen Bunting to finish bottom, and that’s still in with a chance as well.

For the Bullet, he’s lost four out of his last five games and has lost each of his last three openers in the Premier League. Getting the Iceman on the -1.5 handicap at around 4/5 with bet365 once again looks more than fair.

Jonny Clayton vs Gian van Veen – Clayton to Win

I tweeted (X’d?) last week about how aghast I was with the bookies seemingly sleepwalking into Jonny Clayton markets, and it appears this week there’s more of the same.

The Ferret is top of the table, has four nightly wins and is still priced at 13/2 to win the whole thing for the second time. He was 10/1 before another run to the final last week, where, truth be told, he should have wrapped up another win against Littler. But one ahead, he opened the door, and when you do that against the Nuke, it generally doesn’t end well.

So, here we are, Night 13, and we’re still getting 10/11 for Clayton to beat Gian van Veen. This is now the fifth time the pair have met this year, with Clayton winning three of the four so far. I feel like I’m on repeat here, but Clayton to win is, once again, going in the acca.

Luke Humphries vs Michael van Gerwen – Over 9.5 Legs

This is the hardest game of the opening round to call. Two players who, on their day, are world-class. But as of right now, they’re unpredictable, and they can’t seem to string a cluster of wins together.

For Humphries, it’s a must-win. He’s now five points adrift of MVG in the table, and if he wants to make finals night, he needs to get on the board here. If you’d told me before Night 1 that after 12 weeks, Humphries still didn’t have a nightly win, I’d have sent you to get sectioned. But here we are.

My default for games that look close on paper is to head to the total legs market. A 6-4/6-5 scoreline is highly plausible here, so getting 10/11 with BetMGM looks a really good price, making up the final part of my Night 12 Darts Premier League predictions.
