Premier League double-header on a Monday? Yes please! The footballing gods are treating us to two tasty matches on Bank Holiday Monday, and I’m here to pick out a couple of juicy bets to spice things up. Let’s jump straight in…
Monday’s Premier League Betting Tips
My Europa/Conference League acca landed on Thursday night, helping to boost my coffers just in time for the Bank Holiday weekend.
Instead of splashing the cash on a wild night out or an extravagant purchase, I’ve decided to bury my head back into spreadsheets to try to find another winner… you’re welcome.
I’ve picked out a nice 2.63/1 double using one of the best online bookies, BetMGM. Fortunately, I was able to use my £10 free bet as part of the welcome offer. If you’re new to BetMGM, make sure to take advantage of their promotion.

Bet 1: Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest – Forest/Draw Double Chance
It didn’t take me long to pick a bet in this game. I simply have no faith in Chelsea, who are looking to avoid their sixth straight Premier League defeat – something that hasn’t happened since 1993.
The Blues are not only at risk of missing out on European football, but they could even plummet into the bottom half of the table if they’re not careful.
Forest, on the other hand, are absolutely flying. Unbeaten in nine games, four straight victories under their belt… it took them four managerial appointments, but it seems like the Tricky Trees have finally found their groove.
Putting current form aside, Chelsea have not beaten Forest in three previous meetings at Stamford Bridge. I’m backing Vitor Pereira’s men to extend that run on Monday.
Bet 2: Everton vs Man City – Erling Haaland to Score Anytime
It’s been a good month for Erling Haaland, who backed up his FA Cup hat-trick against Liverpool with a couple of match-winning goals against Arsenal and Burnley.
I’m backing the goals to keep on coming as Haaland takes on one of his favourite Premier League opponents.
The Norwegian striker has already scored six goals in five games against the Toffees, including a brace last October.
To make matters worse for David Moyes, Everton’s defence has crumbled in recent weeks, shipping eight goals in five games. If you listen closely, you can almost hear Michael Keane and James Tarkowski shaking in their boots.
