The Club World Cup is bringing the best from across the globe for a chance at glory, and to fill FIFA’s wallets. The 12 European clubs are set to dominate the group stage, and we’ve got an acca on our predicted group winners.

The competition starts on the 15th, and once the games start and the top teams start to win, the odds are going to plummet. Betting before the opening match is the best way to go here.

Group Winners Acca

These are the clubs we’re backing to top their groups in the FIFA Club World Cup. An acca with this many legs will win you £331.66 from a tenner with bet365.

Backing all eight of these would be risky to say the least, so you can back four or five and still make a decent win if they come off.

Group A: Tough Group for Porto

FC Porto – Palmeiras – Al Ahly Cairo – Inter Miami FC

The toughest group to predict, FC Porto, are just about the favourites to win the group, priced at 137/100. Palmeiras and Inter Miami are close behind, priced at 7/4 and 333/100, respectively.

Palmeiras are currently 4th in the Brasileirão Serie A. They’re a solid side and tend to be competitive against European opposition. If Messi can turn on the magic, though, we may see a few upsets in the group.

Group B: PSG Pining for Quintuple

PSG – Atletico Madrid – Botafogo – Seattle Sounders FC

Can anyone stop PSG? We’re backing them to top the group and probably go all the way. Atleti will provide some fierce opposition, but they don’t have the same quality as the Parisians.

To the footballing purists, the PSG vs Botafogo match is a Finalissima of sorts, as they are the reigning champions of the Champions League and the Copa Libertadores.

With four trophies in the bag, PSG could be in for a historic Quintuple. They’re priced at 9/2 to win the Club World Cup.

Group C: Can Kane Top Another Table?

Bayern Munich – Benfica – Boca Juniors – Auckland City

Another nailed-on winner, Bayern Munich are by far the favourites to top the group. Benfica are their closest competition, priced at 3/1.

The 1/2 odds are pretty good for such an obvious group, though. So, the value is in the punters' favour here.

Group D: Chelsea Chelsea Chelsea *In Tune*

Chelsea – Flamengo – Los Angeles – Espérance De Tunis

Priced at 57/100, Chelsea topping the group looks like a guarantee. They’ve managed to save their season and qualified for the Champions League again, so we think they’ll keep that form up.

Flamengo, priced at 9/4 to top the group, don’t have the best record against European teams, and we think they’ll progress in a respectable second place.

Group E: Inter Milan Redemption Arc

Inter Milan – River Plate – Monterrey – Urawa Diamonds

Inter Milan have just been humiliated on the European stage; they’ll be dying to make things right with a good showing here. They’re also in one of the easier groups.

River Plate haven’t been setting the world alight in Argentina’s confusing top flight, so a second-place finish would be quite good.

Group F: Dortmund Bring Their Wall To The US

Borussia Dortmund – Fluminense – Ulsan Hyundai – Mamelodi Sundowns

Dortmund and Fluminense are priced at 2/25 and 1/4 to qualify. They’re head and shoulders above the other clubs.

Borussia are the pick of the group, and even after a pretty bad showing for most of the season, they managed to turn it around. They’ve won their last 6 matches and will probably win the next three here.

Group G: 115 Problems but Topping the Group Ain’t One

Manchester City – Juventus – Al Ain SCC – WAC Casablanca

City and Juve might as well send in the U18s for the group stage. They’ve got the lowest odds to qualify of any 2 teams in a group at 1/25 and 7/50.

Manchester City are the favourites to top the group at 2/5 and are one of the favourites to win the tournament.

Juventus are priced at 2/1 to get one over on City. They have been a shadow of their former selves this season, so topping the group is unlikely.

Group H: Real Madrid Get an Easy Draw? What a Surprise

Real Madrid – Al Hilal Riyadh – FC Salzburg – Pachuca

The darlings of European football, Real Madrid are priced at just 4/25 to qualify from their group. To be fair, it’s the easiest group, and even their European counterpart is a surprise entry in FC Salzburg.

This is probably the safest bet you’ll ever make, barring any unimaginable calamity by the Galácticos.
