Victor Osimhen is one of the finest strikers on the planet and arguably the best African footballer in the game right now. Plenty of top clubs are circling, so we’re breaking down the leading contenders so you can work out whether the odds are worth a shot.

Loads of clubs, from Arsenal to Al Riyadh, are scrambling to boost their scoring options this transfer window.
So, it’s no surprise that Victor Osimhen, Serie A’s former top scorer and the man who helped take Napoli to the title before netting 24 goals in 28 games for Galatasaray, is firmly on the radar of the top sides around the world.
Victor Osimhen – Club on 03/09/2025 | Odds | Bookmaker |
---|---|---|
Juventus | 13/8 | bet365 |
Any Saudi Arabian Team | 7/2 | bet365 |
Galatasaray | 6/1 | bet365 |
Chelsea | 8/1 | bet365 |
Manchester United | 8/1 | bet365 |
But put simply, we think the bookies have missed the mark on a few of these top contenders. So, we’re diving into the top five to spot where there’s real value and where you’re better off steering clear.
Juventus (13/8): Mixed Messages For Move to Another Top Italian Club
With Osimhen seemingly set on leaving Napoli following a bitter fall out (he’s currently only on loan to Galatasaray), Juventus, another top Italian side that’s seen his abilities up close, looks like a natural destination.
But reports are all over the shop. Some reckon a deal is nearly done, others claim Juve’s top brass don’t fancy splashing out the eye-watering 90 million euros reportedly on the table.
Our take? They haven’t got a clue. That makes the 13/8 odds (38.1%) look seriously overpriced. We’d put it closer to 15% and would steer clear.
Any Saudi Arabian Team (7/2): Could Big Money Tempt Osimhen East?
Money is a problem for many clubs on this list. Osimhen believes he can demand tens of millions, and plenty of top sides who’d love to sign him just aren’t willing to stump up the cash.
But the Saudi Pro League certainly would.
If Osimhen’s priority is boosting his bank balance, then a Saudi team would be the obvious choice. And with the league steadily gaining momentum and pulling in major stars, it’s not the dramatic career detour it used to be. Plus, reports suggest Al-Ahli were closest to landing him before his Galatasaray loan.
It’s tough to say where Osimhen stands on the Saudi move, but money talks, and often convinces. That’s why we reckon the 7/2 odds (22.2% implied probability) are probably spot on.
Galatasaray (6/1): Osimhen May Have Already Found His Long-Term Home
Osimhen looks like he’s loving life in Turkey. He’s hungry, playing with freedom and passion, and banging in nearly a goal a game.
With only one season under his belt, it’s entirely possible he’s not ready for another big move just yet.
Don’t forget, he was linked to plenty of big-name sides in the last window, Chelsea and a Saudi switch were both heavily rumoured, but he surprised everyone with a move to Galatasaray.
His mindset might not have shifted all that much in such a short space of time, especially as his Turkish adventure has gotten off to such a great start.
So, are the 6/1 odds (14.3% implied probability) good value? We’d say they are. We reckon the true chance is closer to 17%, so this market’s definitely worth considering.
Chelsea (8/1): Osimhen to Follow in Drogba’s Footsteps?
Last year Chelsea made an unsuccessful bid for the sensational Nigerian striker, and it looks like they’ve doubled their efforts this time around.
They’ve got plenty to offer. Osimhen is believed to be keen on a move to the Premier League, and with a bit of fresh talent, Champions League qualification is well within reach.
Add to that the Drogba factor, the Chelsea legend is known to be one of Osimhen’s idols, and following in his footsteps could be the icing on the cake.
The main stumbling block is money. Chelsea might not be willing to meet his reported wage demands, said to be £250,000 a week in Europe and a whopping £750,000 in Saudi Arabia.
That said, talks are already underway, and we think this move is more likely than him staying at Galatasaray.
That means we think those 8/1 odds (11.1% implied probability) are massively undervalued. We'd put the true chance closer to 20%, meaning the bookies are off by nearly half.
Manchester United (8/1): A Big Name in Need of a Big Fix
The Red Devils are in desperate need of some extra punch to get themselves back into the upper half of the Premier League table.
While they’ve managed a decent run in the Europa League, their domestic campaign has been a total disaster, one which saw one of England’s most iconic clubs flirting with relegation.
Put simply, Osimhen is likely a more urgent priority for Manchester United than for most other suitors, and they might be prepared to dig deeper into their pockets than any team outside of Saudi Arabia.
If Victor is looking to strike a balance between chasing a hefty wage and playing in the Premier League, United could be a very attractive option.
That said, their dismal 2024–25 season might put him off. Osimhen will want to play for a side that’s pushing for the Champions League, and right now United don’t look anywhere close to that level.
Still, we’d say the 8/1 odds (11.1% implied probability) are undervalued. Maybe not by as much as Chelsea’s, but we’d rate their chances closer to 15%, so still potentially worth a punt.
