2026 Pebble Beach Pro-Am Tips
It wasn’t all that long ago that the Pebble Beach Pro-am field was mixed, especially in terms of attracting the world's best. But the promotion to a signature event and the $3.6 million on offer for the winner mean they attract the best in the world. And given the course, rightly so.
This year’s field is, once again, stacked, and we’ve looked through the markets to find the value and published our Pebble Beach pro-am picks below.
Rory McIlroy to Win
The monotony of picking Rory to go back-to-back at Pebble is not lost on us. But his odds to win the Pebble Beach pro-am are looking super generous at 14/1 this week. He played beautifully for his three-shot win in 2025, and it was the launching pad to a legacy-defining year for the Northern Irishman.
Ironically, having Scheffler in the field improves Rory’s odds, making this pick a little more exciting. He’s already tee'd it up at the Dubai Invitational (T3) and Hero Dubai Desert Classic (T33) prior to heading to Pebble, so he's sharp, and he spoke candidly last year about how the pro-am element across the first two days helped him relax into it.
With the stress of chasing the Grand Slam now behind him, it could be an all-time season for McIlroy, and we’re backing him to get off to a flyer once again at Pebble.
Tom Hoge to Finish Top 20
Let’s unleash the shackles a little here, shall we, and get into the weeds with our Pebble Beach pro-am tips. Enter, Tom Hoge.
Now, a household name, Hoge is not. But, as a former winner in 2022, he’s someone who knows his way around these iconic shores. He finished sixth here in 2024 and T17 in 2025, so there’s form to back this bet.
His irons and putting are key. It’s fair to say that he’s streaky with both, and when he won in 2022, he gained 2.64 strokes with the putter and 1.84 with his approach play. He needs that putter to get hot, and if he does, there’s no reason why he won’t be right in the mix down that stretch on Sunday.
Justin Rose Each-Way
Justin Rose is ageing like a fine wine. He turns 46 this year and played arguably the best golf of his career in 2025, jumping from 53rd in the world to 10th as it stands. A win at the St. Jude Championship in August capped off a memorable season, but it could have been career-defining if he had managed to pip Rory McIlroy in a playoff at the Masters.
He's built on that in 2026, winning the Farmers Insurance in February, and Pebble Beach is a course where Rose has historically done well. The win in 2023 broke a four-year winless streak on Tour and proved to be the launchpad to a second wind for one of the best European players of all time. He backed that up with a T11 (2024) and T3 (2025), so in terms of horses for courses, this one fits.
We don’t hate getting on Rosey to win this week, but for a little added security, we’re taking him each-way as our Pebble Beach pick.
Most Popular Pebble Beach Pro-Am Betting Markets
Signature events attract the big names, and with them, the buzz. The bookies jump on this, and as a result, there are often more markets to choose from than your standard PGA Tour event. Here’s a look at some of the Pebble Beach bets you can place this week.
Think you’ve got a hunch on who’ll claim the crown? This is your chance to pick the one golfer who’ll reign supreme over the weekend – no ifs, ands or buts about it.
Not feeling a win just yet? No worries! Back someone to finish in the top ranks and still bag a tidy profit, whether it’s Top 5, 10 or even 20!
Forget the full leaderboard – this one’s all about the head-to-head. Pick two players and bet on who’ll be the best. Golf, but this time, it’s personal.
Is it going to be a homegrown hero, or are we looking at some international flair? Predict the winner’s nationality and add a little global twist to your bet.
The holy grail of golfing glory! Place your bet on whether someone’s going to pull off the ultimate shot – a hole-in-one – and witness history being made. The Pebble Beach odds on this one are likely to be very tasty.
How many shots will separate the champion from the rest? Take your Pebble Beach Pro-Am tips and predictions to the next level by diving into the details.
Here, it’s all about the matchups within the matchups. Choose a player to finish higher than a specific group of rivals and watch the drama unfold.
In stroke play, it's all about racking up those special shots. Predict how many of these feathery delights a player of your choice will bag.
Golf’s not all sunshine and rainbows – it’s bogeys and double bogeys too. Bet on the total number of mishaps throughout the tourney and keep your fingers crossed for a few dodgy plays.
With all the A-listers strutting their stuff, who’ll come out on top in the celebrity race? Place your bet on the top celebrity finisher and add a bit of star power to your wager!

Additional AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Insights
Betting on the AT&T Pro-Am at Pebble Beach can be tricky. It’s 80 of the world's best golfers going head-to-head, and with so many quality players to choose from, finding the winner isn’t easy. So, we’ve created this section to help you look a little deeper into the tournament and share some insights into how we make our picks for the week.
Key Golfers to Watch
The switch to signature event status in 2024 has propelled the popularity of the AT&T. Sure, you’d always get the celebs, but not always the best golfers. Here’s a look at some of the players in the running this week outside of our AT&T Pebble Beach predictions above.
Scottie Scheffler
We may not have backed the current world number one to win this week, but he’s 100% going to be in the mix and will likely head off as favourite in the betting. He’s only played the tournament twice (2024 and 2025), finishing T6 and T9, respectively. If he carries on his 2025 form, then we’re going to have to start having serious conversations about the Texan being one of the best to ever do it… If we’re not there already.
Jordan Spieth
Former winner Jordan Speith makes his annual pilgrimage to the West Coast for his 14th appearance in the AT&T. He’s not fared that well here over the last three visits, with a best of T39 in 2024, but he’s capable of pulling rabbits out of hats, so you certainly can’t write him off. It’s crazy to think he’s not won on Tour since 2022, so fingers crossed 2026 is the year he gets his career back on track, as he’s too good to be in golf’s abyss.
Shane Lowry
Shane Lowry is one to watch this year. He had so many close calls in 2025 and even finished second here 12 months ago to kick off a solid, but ultimately winless season. He’s 26th in the world, but he’s so much better than that, and the links' style setup will suit him. As quite a streaky player, see how his early-season form in the Middle Eastern swing on the DP World Tour and if he’s knocking at doors, don’t count him out.
Tommy Fleetwood
With all the end-of-season hype around the Ryder Cup and FedEx Cup playoffs, it’s gone under the radar that Tommy Fleetwood has jumped to third in the world. He ended his 2025 season in great form, winning two of his last six starts, with two top-three finishes in there for good measure. Like Lowry, the links will suit him, and he played well to finish T22 here last year. However, Fleetwood will head off as one of the favourites, so he needs to be priced competitively to be more appealing than backing McIlroy or Scheffler.
A Deep Dive into Pebble Beach Golf Course: Field Analysis for Punters
This week, there are two courses, but they work differently from previous years. One of the first two rounds (Thursday/Friday) will be at Spyglass Hill and Pebble, and both weekend rounds will be at Pebble.
There’s a huge emphasis on approach and scrambling here. The greens are tiny, averaging about 3,500 sq ft, making them the smallest on Tour. On top of that, you’ve got Poa annnua grass, which, to me and you, means it’s super sticky and thick. If players miss greens, there's no guarantee they'll get up and down.
At just 6,972 yards, Pebble is short. But it’s no pushover, and because of its layout, there’s not a lot of reward for bombers, meaning players can club down and plot their way around. If you look at some of the winners over the last decade, Rory aside, they are far from big hitters, so use accurate players from the top 20-40 bracket to find a bit of value.
Finally, the weather usually plays a role at some point. It’s right on the water's edge, and wind and rain can whip up out of nowhere. Try to check weather forecasts to see who’s got the best draw for the opening two days and place your bets around that accordingly.
What’s the Pebble Beach Pro-Am Prize Money?
The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am prize money is set at $20 million. Its signature status means that it’s one of the biggest tournaments on the PGA Tour, and the winner will take home a cheque worth a cool $3.6 million.
