The Champions League semi-finals are here, and we’ve got a few great betting angles to show you, as well as asking the big question. Can Arsenal do it?

Asrenal in the Champions League Semi Final.

Arsenal vs PSG

Here are a few markets which we think are worth a punt on with bet365:

MarketOdds
Goals: Over 2.59/10
Yellow Cards: Under 4.511/25
Both Teams to Score: Yes3/4

The facts:

  • List Icon

Arsenal has scored over 2.5 goals in every knockout game, and PSG has achieved the feat in 4 of 6 of their knockout games.

  • List Icon

PSG have only received 2 cards in that time, both by Marquinhos, Arsenal’s worst offender, Partey, has also been suspended for this match, making a cards bet ideal.

  • List Icon

They’re two of the best teams for clean sheets, but we think their offensive strength will break through on both ends of the pitch.

The key factors: Both teams have already met in the league phase: Arsenal 2-0 PSG. PSG are up for a treble, though, and that may get them to push even harder against the Gunners.

The nearly men have yet again finished 2nd in the League, but the Gunners have been sensational in the Champions League. This will be their last chance to win a trophy this season.

Their unprecedented 5-1 win against Real Madrid is a statement of intent. Arsenal are the real deal. They’re also favourites tonight at 23/20 with bet365.

So far in the UCL, they’ve only lost 1 match, scored 30 goals, and conceded just 7. By far the best record of any team left in the competition.

PSG had a rotten league phase but has been excellent since then. They’ve finally ditched the ‘Sign Superstars’ mentality and are playing some entertaining, aggressive football.

So, can Arsenal do it? We think so, they’ve consistently proved to be a force to be reckoned with, and after defeating the kings of the Champions League, Real Madrid, anything is possible.

Barcelona vs Inter

Here are a few standout markets with bet365:

MarketOdds
Raphinha to Score or Assist53/100
Cards: Over 3.518/25
To Score in 1st Half: Barcelona13/25

The Facts:

  • List Icon

Raphinha has 19 goal contributions in the UCL, only blanking in 3 matches.

  • List Icon

Inter have received 10 cards in 4 knockout games, and Barcelona have only conceded 2.

  • List Icon

Barcelona will dominate, and they’ve scored in the first half of 8 out of 12 matches.

The key Factors: Barcelona are on course for a third continental treble and have already won the Copa Del Rey. Inter have just been knocked out of the Coppa Italia and lost top spot in the League.

Barcelona will be on a high after an El Clásico Copa Del Rey final win. They’ve only lost one game in 28 matches. A dead rubber 3-1 loss to Borussia Dortmund. They’re unstoppable.

Inter has lost three games on the bounce, but they have the most clean sheets in the UCL (8), and most goals scored in Serie A (72). They’re not to be slept on.

Beyond the Semis

So, what do the bookies expect the final to look like? Here’s the odds from bet365.

Name the FinalistsOdds
PSG & Barcelona29/20
Arsenal & Barcelona2/1
PSG & Inter Milan7/2
Arsenal vs Inter Milan9/2

Unsurprisingly, PSG vs Barcelona is the most likely final. We will stick to our guns, though, and back a repeat of the 2006 UCL Final.

Arsenal can overcome any opposition, and Barcelona is the only team which may prove to be too good for Arteta's men.
