Now let’s look at each match in detail to explain why we think these bets will come in.
League One – Exeter City vs Reading: Under 2.5 Goals (9/10)
Everything points towards a low scoring match in this one and we think that 9/10 is a more than fair price. Our stats hub shows that 64% of Exeter’s matches have produced under 2.5 goals with 60% of Reading’s seeing less than 2.5 goals. Exeter have averaged 1.10 goals per game while Reading have scored exactly one goal per match. We would be surprised if things changed dramatically on Saturday.
League One – Wigan Athletic vs Wycombe Wanderers: Over 8.0 Corners (1/2)
Looking at our League One stats hub, you can see that both sides regularly feature in games which produce over 8.5 corners, with this occurring in 82% of Wigan’s matches and 64% of Wycombe’s. Wigan have won an average of 6.91 corners in League One this season with Wycombe earning 5.82 on average. So, over 8.0 corners is a very solid choice for the second leg of our acca.
League Two- Grimsby Town vs Colchester United: Grimsby and Under 3.5 Goals (6/4)
We move into League Two for the third game in our acca. Grimsby Town are right in the frame for promotion while the visitors, Colchester United, are down in 19th. So, we see a home win here. However, we also feel that there will be three goals or less. Using the TPP League Two stats hub, we can see that 73% of the Mariners’ matches have seen less than 3.5 goals while Colchester’s games have seen less than that total 82% of the time. So, we have gone for a home win with less than 3.5 goals.
League Two – Oldham Athletic vs Barrow: Over 9 Corners (8/11)
We again look at the corner market for this midtable clash. Both sides have had over 9.5 corners in 73% of their fixtures. Oldham has averaged 5.5 per match while Barrow has averaged 4.36. Therefore, the data tells us that over nine corners in this one is very likely.
