Aston Villa vs Leeds United – Double Chance: Leeds or Draw
Ok, let’s make this clear. Aston Villa are a very good side. After a superb midseason run, it would be a major surprise if they finished outside the Champions League places. Leeds United have also had a great midseason run, however, their aims are very different as they aim to claw themselves to safety sooner rather than later. We do, however, need to draw attention to the current form of Villa at home and Leeds’ resilience on the road.
Villa have played six matches at home in all competitions in 2026. They beat Nottingham Forest on the 3rd of January, overcame RB Salzburg in the Europa League, and needed an 86th minute own-goal to beat a clearly out of sorts Brighton. They have lost to Everton and Brentford in the league and to Newcastle United in the FA Cup. Leeds have avoided defeat at Liverpool, Everton, and Chelsea in the league since the turn of the year. You could have added Newcastle to that list but for the latest winning goal in Premier League history from Harvey Barnes. They also won at Derby in the third round of the FA Cup and although they needed penalties to see off Birmingham City in the fourth round, it was another display of grit away from home. We have gone for a 1-1 draw in this one in our talkSPORT Bet Footie 4 Play predictions. And we think that evens is a great price for Double Chance.
Chelsea vs Burnley – Enzo Fernandez Over 0.5 Shots on Target
Chelsea, who appear to be finding consistency under new boss Liam Rosenior, are heavy favourites in this one. And it is consistency that we have in mind when picking out a wager from this one. Our Kickform stats show that Enzo Fernandez has rattled off 52 shots in 24 starts and one substitute appearance, a rate of 2.18 per 90 minutes. When it comes to shots on target, the Argentine international has 22 from his 24 starts, which is 0.92 per 90 minutes. We think that, given Chelsea are likely to dominate the game, he will get a chance to fire off a couple of shots, and his accuracy means that he is likely to work Martin Dubravka in the Burnley goal.
West Ham United vs Bournemouth – Crysencio Summerville to Score or Assist
Crysencio Summerville has played a major part in West Ham United’s recent improvement. The Dutchman has six goals in his last seven appearances in all competitions, which is as many as he managed in his previous 56 matches for both the Hammers and his previous club, Leeds United. It adds up to seven goal involvements in all competitions in 2026. While West Ham will not have it all their own way on Saturday, given that Bournemouth are a good side who have played themselves back into form, we are backing Summerville to continue his impressive run.
Manchester City vs Newcastle United – Over 10.5 Corners
The last time Newcastle United beat Manchester City away from home in the Premier League was September 2000 when City still played at Maine Road. If Newcastle get anything from this game, we will know for sure that they have found a cure for the travel sickness which has undermined their push for European football this season.
We are looking at the corners for this one. According to data from Kickform, Man City have won an average of 5.50 corners per match while Newcastle have won a league high of 6.96 per game. 62% of the Magpies’ league fixtures have seen over 10.5 flag kicks. To round off our BetMGM acca we are backing the corner count to be 11 or more.
