Bristol City vs West Bromwich Albion – Double Chance: West Brom or Draw
Despite the league positions of the two sides, we have greater confidence in West Brom. The Baggies have only lost once in their last five, and their last two fixtures have seen them draw with in-form Southampton and beat promotion chasing Hull City 3-0. Bristol City have won only one from five and have dropped out of the promotion picture. They lost three in a row before stopping the rot with a draw at Middlesbrough in their last match. We are going with the current trajectory of the two clubs rather than their form over the season in this one. We’re backing West Brom to come away with something to kick start our SBK acca.
Hull City vs Sheffield Wednesday – John Egan Over 0.5 Shots on Target
Hull City suffered a setback in their push for promotion with the 3-0 defeat away at West Brom in their last game. They will be looking to bounce back against already relegated Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday. It has been a miserable season for the Owls, however, there has been a faint improvement of late. That said, we expect Hull to have far too much for them.
Hull are a tremendously attack minded team who have scored 59 goals in 38 games. Central defender John Egan has contributed two of those goals. Our Kickform stats show that Egan has had 16 shots this season, with five on target. Given that Wednesday have shipped 76 goals this season and have a tendency to concede corners we think that he will get a chance on Saturday and we are backing him to work the goalkeeper.
Sheffield United vs Wrexham – Over 9.5 Corners
For our third bet we are going for the corner market. Sheffield United have won an average of 6.68 corners per game, a Championship high. Wrexham have an average of 5.53 corners per match. Our data from Kickform shows that 71% of the Blades’ fixtures and 53% of Wrexham's have seen the corner count go to double figures. So, we are confident of there being 10 or more corners in this match.
Swansea City vs Coventry City – Double Chance: Coventry or Draw
League leaders Coventry had won five in a row before a setback against Southampton last week. Frank Lampard’s side will be determined to bounce back away at Swansea City. The Swans have two wins, two losses and a draw from their last five, a run which sums up their midtable status. Their home record is the seventh best in the division, while Coventry are third in the away table. Kickform give a 48% chance of an away win and while we feel that the Sky Blues should have too much for the hosts, we are not confident enough to back them to win. We think that a double chance wager is a great way to round off our SBK acca.
