Saturday’s Champions League final will not be free-to-air, meaning a lot of football fans without a TNT subscription or a dodgy Firestick may have to settle for the weekend’s alternative main event, Britain’s Got Talent. I’ve got the latest lowdown on the betting ahead of the 2026 final.

Britain's Got Talent Final Betting Tips, May 2026

Britain’s Got Talent Final Betting Tips

Forget Arsenal vs PSG. Saturday night is all about choirs, poets, singers and even a woman who can balance heavy objects on her feet.

The 2026 Britain’s Got Talent Final is upon us, and I’ve used one of the best online bookies, MyStake, to find three juicy selections. Check them out below.

Bet 1: Rafferty Coope to win

One of the most anticipated acts of the night will see 17-year-old Rafferty Coope present his musical magician performance.

The six-former stunned the judges during the audition by turning a harmonica into chocolate and dropping an AirPod through solid glass.

Coope went on to win the public vote in the fourth semi-final, indicating his popularity with the audience.

In fact, women reportedly make up a bigger chunk of the BGT voting audience than men (according to actual research), and judging by my own focus group — one slightly obsessed Mrs on the sofa — the fresh-faced teen already has a very strong demographic behind him.

Bet 2: Matty Juniosa to win

There have been two previous winners of Britain's Got Talent who were not originally from the UK. Most recently, it was Norway’s Viggo Venn who powered to victory in 2023 with his comedy act.

Matty Juniosa is bidding to become the third such winner, and his hopes are high after getting two golden buzzers from the typically hard-to-satisfy Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden.

Because Juniosa was fast-tracked to the final, we don’t know how popular It is with the voting public. However, most of the previous winners of BGT have been musical acts, meaning the Filipino powerhouse certainly has a good chance at glory.

Bet 3: Ted Hill to win – NAP

Comedians have done well in recent years, winning two of the previous four editions of the show, and Ted Hill is looking to continue that trend.

The autistic, ADHD-diagnosed comedian has a great backstory (pivotal in these kinds of shows), and he also has a great act.

Hill’s audition went viral, gaining over 12 million views on Instagram and TikTok. On top of that, he won the public vote in the third semi-final, further underlining his popularity with the populous.

Priced at 14/1, Hill is clearly the underdog, but a good performance in the final could put him right in the running for that £250,000 prize. With that in mind, I’m making the comedian my NAP for the night.
