Fresh from picking up their second-ever 7-1 victory at a World Cup, Germany turn their attention to the Ivory Coast as they look to take a huge step towards the knockout phase. Unlike the previous two tournaments, the Germans look like they mean business, and I’m hoping to cash in on their form with a tasty 4-fold bet builder.
Germany vs Ivory Coast Best Builder
The bookmakers have not made things easy here. Finding bets at reasonable odds was a slog, but just like Andy Dufresne in that famous scene from Shawshank Redemption, I crawled out of the sewers holding my hands in the air, clutching to four juicy selections.
I used one of the best online bookies, 10bet, to get the best odds. On top of that, the bookie offered me a 25% boost on my bet builder. Check out the selections below…
| Market | Odds (Bookmaker) | Return for £10 |

Bet 1: Both Teams to Score – Yes
Not the sexiest bet I ever recommended, but with 10bet pricing this selection at 7/10, I simply couldn’t pass it up.
For all of Germany’s impressive goal-scoring abilities, Julian Nagelsmann’s side have conceded goals in four of their last five matches. Even little old Curacao managed to find their way through Manuel Neuer and co.
On the other side of the pitch, you have a dangerous Ivory Coast side that have scored at least one goal in 11 consecutive matches. With that in mind, both teams to score is the way to go.
Bet 2: Under 11 Corners
This bet landed in both Group E games last week, which is a good sign ahead of Saturday’s game.
We’ve had 24 games at the World Cup so far, and only five of them have seen 11 or more corners – another positive stat for this selection.
Putting the numbers aside, let’s be honest, Germany against Ivory Coast is expected to be a tightly contested fixture. With that in mind, I’m more than happy to stick under 11 corners in my bet builder.
Bet 3: Manuel Neuer to Make at Least 2 Saves
If Curacao managed to produce two shots on target against Germany, surely the Ivory Coast can do better.
The African side were not afraid to test the goalkeeper in their opening game against Ecuador, producing 15 shots and four on target.
Head coach Emerse Fae has a ton of attacking talent in his squad, with the likes of Yan Diomande, Nicolas Pepe and Amad Diallo set to cause Manuel Neuer problems.

Bet 4: Kai Havertz to Have at Least 1 Shot on Target
When it comes to Germany, the European powerhouse is not short on attacking talent.
Kai Havertz may not be on the same level as some of his predecessors – the likes of Miroslav Klose, Lukas Podolski, Rudi Voller or Gerd Muller spring to mind – but the Arsenal man can still cause serious problems.
The 27-year-old bagged a confidence-boosting brace against Curacao, and I’m backing him to have at least one shot on target against the Ivory Coast.
