Rene Hake
Rene Hake feels like the sort of appointment Tony Bloom would dream up after a long night staring at spreadsheets. Not exactly a household name, but a coach with plenty of potential.
The Dutchman was Erik ten Hag's assistant at Manchester United, which probably isn't the strongest selling point in his CV.
More recently, he worked alongside Robin van Persie at Feyenoord but is now on the market after leaving the club over the summer.
Of all the options, Hake is the most realistic and logical choice for the Tynecastle hotseat.
Dick Schreuder
Dick Schreuder sounds more like a Eurovision wildcard than someone you'll find on the next manager betting markets.
The 54-year-old has built a strong reputation in the Netherlands and enjoyed a breakthrough campaign with NEC Nijmegen, guiding them to a third-place finish in the Eredivisie and a cup final appearance.
A move to Hearts wouldn't exactly be a giant leap up the football ladder, but it would give Schreuder the chance to test himself in Britain and put his name on a much bigger stage.
Robbie Keane
Few names on this list would get Hearts fans talking quite like Robbie Keane.
The former Republic of Ireland striker came close to landing the Celtic job before fan protests reportedly helped put an end to that idea. His links to Maccabi Tel Aviv proved too controversial for sections of the support, and the move never got off the ground.
What better way to get one over Celtic than by rocking up at Tynecastle instead? It would certainly add a bit of spice to the Edinburgh-Glasgow rivalry.

Liam Rosenior
One man who will not be getting the job is former Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior.
No matter what you made of his time at Stamford Bridge, going from the heights of the Premier League to Tynecastle would represent a major fall from grace… no offence Hearts fans.
The 41-year-old has already knocked back interest from OGC Nice and appears happy to take a breather from management. After banking a hefty payout from Chelsea, there's no rush for him to jump back into the dugout anytime soon.
