Conor Benn Early Favourite to Win Celebrity SAS

A surprising, but highly welcomed inclusion to Celebrity SAS 2025 is boxer Conor Benn. Son of former two-time world champion Nigel, Conor will enter on the back of an epic bout with his long-time rival Chris Eubank Jr.

It’s a new challenge for Benn, who is no stranger to the physical and mental attributes needed to succeed on the show, stating, “Although boxing is hard, I feel like this is going to be a completely different challenge and I always want to challenge myself.

At 28, Benn is still very much in his prime. He will need to call on all his speed, strength and stamina if he’s going to win and follow in the footsteps of boxer and Series 6 joint-winner Lani Daniels.

There’s little doubt that he's the standout this year and will rightly start as favourite. The only question is if Foxy and co. can break down the walls of his mental toughness that might see him snap, as we’ve seen in many a press conference over the years.

Troy Story: Can Deeney Be the SAS Dark Horse?

Troy Deeney, 37, is a retired footballer and current pundit on talkSPORT. He’s best known for captaining Championship side Watford back to the Premier League in 2014-15 and scoring that iconic “Deeeeeeeney” goal in the playoffs against Leicester City.

Before entering the show, Deeney admitted that he was at a “crossroads” in his career but hoped that the show would bring out the “good and bad” as he faces interrogation by the instructors.

Leadership skills will play a significant role if Deeney is to succeed. Past winners, like Calum Best in Series 4, proved that it wasn’t all about physical attributes and used mental resilience to be crowned champion.

We’ve got him around a 12% implied probability to win Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins and is right amongst the early frontrunners.

Wildcard Hannah Spearitt to Reach for the Stars

Former S Club 7 star Hannah Spearitt is our wildcard for 2025. Granted, an implied probability of just 3% is low, but at 44, sometimes experience can be all that’s needed to get through to that gruelling fifth and final stage.

Spearitt has stated how much she’s looking forward to learning about herself and that “…growth and expansion are one of the most important things, and that is something I can hopefully pass on to my kids.

Physically, she will be at a disadvantage compared to some of her male and female counterparts, but as proven by Series 3 winner singer Alexandra Burke, non-athletes can succeed with determination.

She won’t head off as one of the favourites in the early Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins odds, but as an outside pick, she might just bring the house down.
