Our acca bet tips are data-driven, using statistics from Kickform. We’ll now look at each match in greater detail to show why we have gone with our picks.
League One: Wycombe Wanderers vs Wigan Athletic – Wycombe to Win & Under 2.5 Goals
Wycombe are 12th in League One and have won two of their last five league games with only one defeat in that time. Wigan, who are five points behind in 19th, have two defeats and two draws in their last five. Wycombe have won seven from 14 at home in League One this season, while Wigan have lost five on their travels this season, winning only twice. We think that this one will go the way of the home side.
Furthermore, 56% of Wycombe’s matches have seen less than three goals, with 69% of the Latics’ fixtures seeing under 2.5 goals. We don’t see many goals in this one. Kickform give a 48% chance of a home win and a 65% chance of under 2.5 goals with the most likely result being a 1-0 home win. So, we are backing Wycombe, with the match producing under 2.5 goals.
League One: Doncaster Rovers vs Leyton Orient – Over 2.5 Goals
Leyton Orient’s 27 League One matches have produced 85 goals this season. 65% of their matches have produced three or more goals. This figure rises to 77% for their away fixtures. The 16th placed O’s travel to third bottom Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday. 54% of Doncaster’s home matches have seen over 2.5 goals. Both sides have only kept five clean sheets in the league this season, with only Barnsley achieving fewer shutouts in the division. In short, we see goals in this one and feel that 10/11 for under 2.5 match goals at SBK is a more than fair price.
League Two: Salford City vs Chesterfield – Salford to Win
Salford are second in League Two and have won eight from 13 at home. Eighth-placed Chesterfield have lost four and drawn six of their 14 away matches. Salford have four wins from five in the league while the Spireites have three draws and two losses in their last five games.
Chesterfield are a decent side, but Salford have been superior this season, are strong at home and are in better current form. We’re going for a home win.
League Two: Walsall vs Crawley Town – Over 8.5 Corners
Walsall, fifth in League Two host Crawley Town who are down in 20th. It is the corner market that has captured our imagination in this one.
Walsall have won an average of 4.85 corners per match, while Crawley have won an average of 5.59, despite their lowly league position. When you look at total corners in a match, the stats are even more encouraging. 58% of Walsall’s games have produced over 8.5 flag kicks, while for Crawley the figure is at 93%. When you look at the Kickform corner stats for Walsall’s home matches and Crawley’s away fixtures, it is 69% and 93% respectively. So, we are confident of at least nine flag kicks, making over 8.5 corners a great way to finish our acca.
