We have reached the quarter-final stage of the 2026 World Cup and England are still in…. Hallelujah! Next up for the Three Lions is a tasty clash with Norway, and I’ve compiled a HUGE 9/1 bet builder ahead of Saturday night's match.

Bet 1: Jude Bellingham 1+ Shots on Target
Let’s start with Jude Bellingham. The Real Madrid man has produced nine shots on target during this World Cup, leaving him with an average of just over two per game.
The 23-year-old scored two vital goals against Mexico, and England will need him to deliver another big shift against Norway. I’m backing him to have at least one pop on target.
Bet 2: Erling Haaland to Score or Assist
With seven goals to his name, Erling Haaland is well in the running for the World Cup Golden Boot.
The Man City ace scored a brace against Iraq, a brace against Senegal, a single against Ivory Coast and yet another brace against Brazil.
Defence is arguably England’s biggest pitfall, and I’m backing Haaland to wreak havoc.
Bet 3: David Moller Wolfe 1+ Fouls
Nobody in the Norwegian squad has committed as many fouls as David Moller Wolfe. The player has seven in the tournament so far, averaging 1.84 fouls per match.
Given England have a propensity to spend a lot of time down the right flank, Wolfe is expected to have a busy night in Miami. This will hopefully work in our favour.
Bet 4: Orjan Nyland 3+ Saves
Norway and England share the same big problem – their defence is nowhere near as good as their attack. That is exemplified by the fact that the Scandinavian side have only managed one clean sheet in 12.
Orjan Nyland was forced to make four saves against Brazil last time out, and I’m expecting the 35-year-old to have another busy night… especially with the likes of Harry Kane knocking at the door.
Bet 5: Jordan Pickford 3+ Saves
Copy and paste the last point.
England’s weakest point is their defence, which has shipped five goals at this tournament – including two against Mexico.
Norway have absolutely no fear when attacking, and Jordan Pickford may once again have to bail his nation out.
Bet 6: Over 4.5 England Corners
I actually wanted to back England to have the most corners, but that market wasn’t available with Betfred at the time of writing. Instead, I’m backing the Three Lions to have over 4.5 corners.
Thomas Tuchel’s side are one of the leading sides for corners at this World Cup, with 31 to their name. England average well over six corners per game, which is a confidence boosting stat when it comes to this market.
Bet 7: Both Teams to Score – Yes
I was closing in on a £100 return for a £10 stake, so I had to add another bet to this tasty builder.
Unfortunately, I ran out of specific player markets on Betfred’s Bet Builder feature, but I quickly stumbled upon both teams to score.
With the stakes so high, and the pitch oozing with incredible attacking talent, I simply cannot see either side keeping a clean sheet. Priced at 4/6, I think this one is a no-brainer.
