Overall, Cocobet is a solid crypto casino and sportsbook. Its 11,000+ casino games, including 500+ live dealer titles, provide plenty of variety beyond traditional slots. Football is the sportsbook’s strength, with up to 400+ markets on selected matches. Odds are competitive, although margins on lower-league events can be higher than elsewhere.
The welcome offers are underwhelming, with free spins and a sportsbook money-back promotion. However, the VIP programme offers up to 20% monthly cashback. Cocobet is a good choice for players seeking extensive casino options or a wide selection of football betting markets.
All our reviews follow a strict player journey, and from there, we literally document what we find. This includes opening an account, completing KYC, depositing and withdrawing, claiming a bonus, placing a bet, comparing odds, using features such as cash out, bet builder and in-play, placing bets at the casino and contacting customer support. We pride ourselves on honesty and saying it how it is, so we can deliver a fair Cocobet review for you.

Cocobet is fully licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Authority (OGL/2024/135/0139) under its parent company, NewEra Information Technology N.V. We’ve verified the license, and it is indeed live and in place as it should be.
KYC (Know Your Customer) is in place, however, it’s a bit random as to how it’s implemented. You do not need to verify your account when you sign up and deposit, but you may be asked to do so before you withdraw. We recommend doing it voluntarily as soon as you create your account. It only takes a couple of minutes and prevents snags later down the line when you need to withdraw.
They have multiple responsible gambling protocols in place, such as self-exclusion, account limits, account suspensions, and support from customer service for any players who need it.

Cocobet’s range of offers and promotions are good, not great. We will dive into how each of them works below, but a simple free spins casino offer and a risk-free bet at the sportsbook aren’t all that exciting. When you compare it to the likes of Rolletto or Vave who both have huge deposit bonuses, there’s likely more value elsewhere if we’re being honest.
That said, if these types of promos are for you, they may be the perfect fit. Here’s how they shape up.
Sportsbook – 50% Risk-Free Bet on the Sportsbook
If your first sportsbook bet of €10 or more and at odds of 1.30 or higher loses, you will get 50% of your stake back as a free bet. The most you can claim here is €100 and any bets placed at €200 or more are capped. Bets placed on virtual sports, esports, horse racing and outrights/futures bets do not count towards this offer.
Casino – Up to 500 Free Spins
The number of free spins you can get from this offer depends on how much you deposit. A deposit of €100 to €249.99 gets you 100 free spins and €250 or more gets you 500 free spins.
Once the free spins hit your account, you can use them on any eligible online slot. Any winnings from the free spins are credited as a bonus balance, which you must wager three times, along with your deposit, before you can withdraw. If you withdraw before meeting these terms, you will forfeit your free spins and any outstanding balance.
Cocobet No Deposit & Free Bets Offers
Unfortunately, you won’t find any Cocobet no-deposit bonuses or free bets. If this changes, we will update this section accordingly.
Cocobet VIP & Loyalty Programs
The VIP loyalty scheme is one of the best parts of the Cocobet promo section. You start earning as soon as you start playing. Your game type affects how quickly you earn points. Here’s the breakdown:
-
Slots — €10 wagered = 1 Point
-
Live Casino — €20 wagered = 1 Point
-
Sports Betting / Virtual Sports — €5 wagered = 1 Point
-
Instant Games / Crash Games — €20 wagered = 1 Point
There are six levels: unranked, bronze, silver, gold, platinum, and diamond. With each level, you get more in the package, such as cashback, rakeback, exclusive offers, instant withdrawals, and a dedicated support team.
At the top end, you can get up to 20% rakeback, 20% monthly cashback, 10% weekly cashback, and elite private offers, so it’s well worth it if you bet enough.

The first thing to note here is that Cocobet is a crypto sportsbook and casino. This means you can buy crypto using fiat options such as Visa and Mastercard, but you need a crypto wallet, such as Bitcoin or Ethereum, to withdraw.
Min deposits start from as little as €3 with crypto and €10 with fiat, which is good, and they are processed instantly. Withdrawals can take up to 72 hours, but in our experience and based on what we’ve seen online, most are processed instantly; however, it can depend on the crypto wallet you’re using. Cocobet doesn’t charge fees, but as with any crypto transaction, you may incur network fees.
Overall, the Cocobet sportsbook is solid. With 37 sports to bet on and 1,200+ events, it’s on the larger side, so there’s lots to get stuck into. Football is, unsurprisingly, the biggest draw here. The Premier League, Champions League, Serie A, and La Liga dominate, but lower-league action across 50+ countries is also on show, if that’s more your thing.
Market coverage is excellent. Top footie matches tick over 400+, with the average closer to 250 across the board. Basketball, tennis, baseball and esports are next in terms of having the most games and markets to bet on, but there’s a notable drop-off as you get more niche with your sports, which isn’t uncommon, but worth noting.
Overround hovers around 5.5% from the markets we tested. It’s slightly higher than MyStake (5.1%) but better than both Vave (5.8%) and Rolletto (5.8%). The option to easily flick between Top Events, Upcoming Games, Live Results and Drafts (where you can save markets for later) is a nice touch, and even though the design sucks – more on that later – you do get used to it, even if you need to zoom in to read some markets.
Cocobet Sports Features
You can debate whether live betting is a feature or a staple these days, but we still wanted to raise it for our Cocobet review. It’s one of the sportsbook’s highlights. For context, a Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid game in La Liga had 1,549 live prices across more than 140 markets. It’s about 25% bigger than MyStake, which we widely regard as one of the best online betting sites right now. You get access to live streaming, match tracker stats, line-ups and play-by-play data all in this section, so there’s a lot going on.
Bet Builders let you combine up to 10 markets from the same game, which is great. However, the juice they charge can be high, and to be honest, other options offer better odds for the same bet builder. You also can’t cash out bet builders for some reason, which is annoying, but you can edit them before they go live. So, if there’s an injury or team news before kick-off, you can adjust the bet instead of voiding that leg.
Top Sports for Betting with Cocobet
Football dominates the Cocobet sportsbook, which is no surprise. It’s valiantly backed by tennis, baseball, basketball, esports, and ice hockey, with 37 sports in total to get stuck into.
Politics and awards were interesting additions, letting you bet on things like the next UK Prime Minister and the Oscars, for example. Horse racing is included as well, with most races taking place in the UK and Ireland. Race cards aren’t great, though, with only basic information beyond the odds. Speaking of odds, they were highly competitive for horse racing and were often best priced or close to it.
We’ve briefly touched on odds, with a 5.5% overround across the board. However, this number drops significantly, and when testing an upcoming Premier League game between Newcastle United and Coventry that was only 3.3% for the match result, which is mega low (good for us punters).
It would be great to see some of their lesser sports be a bit more consistent. For example, a French Top 14 rugby union game between Racing 82 and USA Perpignan had a massive 9.1% overround, which is nothing short of ugly. This is likely due to a lack of liquidity, but it highlights the need to keep shopping around for the best odds, no matter which bookie you use.
The live betting section is arguably one of the sportsbook’s best features. It’s quick, easy to use and comes packed with features.
First, you start in the left nav bar, where you can see a full list of games for your chosen sports. On busy match days, especially in football, it can feel like a lot, so we recommend using the favourites function to narrow it down to the games you are interested in.
Market coverage is huge. You see 200+ at any time for most football games and you can even access live Bet Builders, which is not a feature you see all that often. You need to be fairly quick with these as the odds move, but again, a really nice touch here.
If live streaming is available, you can watch it here. You must be logged in to access, but the streams are decent quality for the most part. It’s also linked to excellent match centres, where you can track games, stats, and data to make more informed picks.
The casino is one of the biggest highlights from our Cocobet review. It’s huge, with over 11,000 games from 119 developers. Slots make up a significant chunk of the catalogue, but there are also 500+ live casino games and 35+ instant games, keeping a decent mix.
In terms of developers, you get access to some of the best, including Pragmatic Play, Evolution Gaming, NetEnt, Hacksaw Gaming and Yggdrasil. You get a balance of big names and smaller developers you might not be familiar with, offering something new.
The lobby is great. You can filter by game type or search for individual games if you know what you’re looking for. They’ve got options to sort by Popular, New Games, Instant Games, and Live Casino, plus a favourites tab you can create, which is much needed given how big it is. If there’s one gripe, it’s the lack of a table games section. Blackjack and roulette are available, but there’s no way to group all table games together, and instead, you need to search for each game type.
Cocobet Casino Features
Cocobet hasn’t tried to reinvent the wheel here. The lobby does a good job of providing useful navigation filters for their vast catalogue of games, and it’s good to see they have added sorting options for game types like Bonus Buy, Megaways, jackpots and new games.
The promotions and VIP sections are standalone. Here, you can track which offers are currently open for your account and see how you’re progressing toward the next VIP level.
One thing worth noting is that Cocobet promote an “originals” section, but this is slightly misleading. The games aren’t exclusive to Cocobet but instead are titles that are available across multiple casinos using the same game portfolio. Granted, they are rare, but originals they are not.
Best Slots & Casino Games in Cocobet
Gates of Olympus 1000 by Pragmatic Play is a firm favourite for the team here at TPP. It offers a great blend of playability, medium-high volatility, and the chance to land a 100x jackpot in the bonus round. Get into that multiplier round, where you watch Zeus drop multipliers from 2x to 1,000x, plus scatters that can trigger up to 15 free spins at a time.
As an alternative, check out Wanted Dead or a Wild by Hacksaw Gaming. It’s a very different type of game, with a more classic 5×5 grid and 15 paylines. A 12,500x jackpot and 96.38% RTP make it more balanced, with features like Dual Reels, bonus rounds, The Great Train Robbery sticky wilds and the Duel at Dawn scatter feature adding depth.
The live casino also offers plenty of choice, but Crazy Time and Sweet Bonanza Candyland are our top picks.

A well-balanced sportsbook and casino
Cocobet is going to tick a lot of boxes for a lot of players. It’s well-rounded, and as you can see, it goes head-to-head with its competitors in terms of depth. I would suggest casino players will get more out of it than sports bettors, mainly because it charges higher juice across the board than the likes of MyStake and Vave. In terms of casino depth, only Ivibet has more games overall, so this would be my standout feature if that matters to you as a player.
Here’s a full step-by-step process on how to place a bet with Cocobet:
Use the nav bar on the left to select the sportsbook (second option down). You can expand it to see the names instead of just the icons by clicking the three lines at the top.
Use the second column on the left to sort through the sports. When you click on a sport, it will open up leagues and markets that you can choose.
In the middle (main) section, you will see that list of games with odds for the market. Either click on the game to open more markets or click on the odds to add to bet slip.
Your bet slip will load in the right column. Here you can enter your stake. It will calculate your returns based on your stake.
Double-check your picks and your stake, and when happy, click the yellow “Place Bet” button.
You can track bets in your account by selecting “History” or you can see live markets, which can be cashed out within the bet slip.
Cocobet keeps its customer support pretty simple. The main outlet is live chat, which starts with a chatbot, but you can ask to speak to someone if you don’t get the answers you need.
You’ve also got a dedicated email address, plus Telegram, Discord, and X channels. However, the social channels are more for general community questions, not account-specific ones. We’d highly recommend that you start with live chat, and they’ll let you know if you need to email in to escalate your issue or not. Overall, a good job and they’ve scored well as a result.
| Channel | Access Details | Stated Availability | Observed Response Duration | Outcome / Helpfulness |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Live Chat | Chat widget on the Cocobet website | 24/7 | Less than 1 minute | Very good. Initial chatbot, but humans are on hand if requested |
| [email protected] | No specific response window stated | Pending | Pending | |
| Telegram | Cocobet community/support channel | Not clearly stated | N/A | Better suited to general/community queries |
| Discord | Cocobet community server | Not clearly stated | N/A | Better suited to general/community queries |
| X | Cocobet social account | Not clearly stated | N/A | Not a primary account-support route |
The casino looks and works really well on both desktop and mobile. It’s big, bold, has contrasting colours, looks modern and is easy to navigate between games. We’d like to see more filters to sort for table games, but that’s a small gripe.
The sportsbook, however, is not the best. The desktop font is exceptionally small. We often had to zoom in on some pages, which isn’t ideal. The experience is much better on mobile, and this would 100% be our recommended platform for using Cocobet.
There’s no dedicated app here, just a mobile-ready site that you access via your mobile browser. They don’t lose points for that, though, as it’s very much the norm for both sportsbooks and casinos these days.
What you get from the mobile site is a responsive, quick, easy-to-use version of the desktop. It’s really been a joy to use and is a much stronger version than the desktop, as we’ve mentioned earlier.
The only niggle is that there’s no 2FA, and you can’t use Face ID to log in. Other than that, it’s pretty much faultless.
Cocobet has a dedicated responsible gambling section, which is great. However, they could be a little more proactive in how it works. For example, you can’t self-exclude or set account limits in your profile; instead, you need to contact live chat. This is fine, but we’d really like to see this barrier removed.
They let you apply anything from a 24-hour cooling-off period, then to self-exclusion for anywhere from one day to one year, and bans for up to five years. We couldn’t find a reality check tool, which should flag increases or unusual behaviour on the account, nor is there an external assessment tool, which plays a similar role.
Responsible Gambling Disclaimer
If you decide to bet with one of the industry’s giants, always remember to gamble responsibly. If you’re ever worried that your gambling might be spiralling, please be quick to seek advice.
