Alexander Volkanovski to Win
When the two men fought last April, Volkanovski came out victorious with a healthy advantage on the judges’ scorecards. The Aussie was able to shake off a knockdown before using his elite footwork and championship experience to claim his 27th professional victory. Looking at the current Volkanovski vs Lopes odds, it’s no surprise to see the 37-year-old priced as favourite.
Lopes enjoyed great moments in that first fight but could not turn his short bursts of aggression into rounds. Lopes has seen three of his last four fights settled by the judges, with the one exception being his latest TKO victory over Jean Silva in September.
