Davis Cup Betting Tips & Predictions 2026
There’s no doubt that 2025 is set up to be one of the most exciting tournaments for years. The calibre of players and the form these guys are in is just insane. So, we’ve had to work extra hard with our Davis Cup betting tips, but we’ve got three picks that offer genuine value from weeks of in-depth research and analysis.
Outright Winner – Italy
As reigning (back-to-back) Davis Cup winners, it’s tough to look past Italy to make it three in a row. They’ve got a great draw, which is mainly down to them being hosts, but taking on Austria in the first round should be nothing more than a formality.
Of course, it’s impossible to overlook the fact that they’ve got Jannik Sinner in their ranks, which gives them a huge edge. He’s the hottest indoor/hard court player in the world right now and has two majors to his name in 2025 (Australian Open, Wimbledon). But there’s strength in depth. Bolelli and Vavassori are two great doubles players and could be the difference if it goes down to the wire. Italy to win again is the smart play and a great low variance option if you’re trying to claim or clear a free bet with a new account.
To Make the Final – Germany
Germany have a strong side for 2025. They’re the strongest on paper in the doubles, with Krawietz and Pütz winning the 2024 ATP Finals and the Halle 2025. If it’s 1-1 after the singles, these are the guys you want to get you over the line.
Their draw is decent. They should have enough to beat Argentina in the opening round, and then it’s between Spain and the Czech Republic. Singles are good, not great, and this would be our only concern if they did make the finals. Struff has a monster serve game, and Hanfmann is playing some of the best tennis of his career. They will be outsiders to win it all in the Davis Cup betting markets, but have a great chance of making the final.
Dark Horse – Czech Republic
If the Davis Cup betting odds for Italy and Germany aren’t quite tickling your fancy, then betting on the Czech Republic to win it all should get the juices flowing. These guys are battle-ready and have already dispatched a strong USA team to reach the finals.
We love the balance of the team. Lehečka is a current career high 16th in the world, Macháč won the Acapulco ATP 500 this season, and Mensík beat Djokovic en route to his Miami Masters win. They have a tough game first up against Spain, but there are talks that Alcaraz might not play, which would be huge. If you’re getting on board with this pick, get in early, as the betting odds for a Davis Cup win will only shorten as we get nearer the first game.
Most Popular Davis Cup Betting Markets
If you’re only betting on the outright winner or the match results in tennis, you’re missing out on tons of value. To help, we’ve created a list of alternative Davis Cup online betting markets, so you can tap into markets based on value, not just convenience. If you want to see more general markets, check out our full tennis betting guide.
Bet on which nation you think will win the Davis Cup outright.
Pick a nation that makes it to the final. They don’t need to win the final, just be in it.
Choose at what stage you think a nation will exit the tournament. This market can be linked to all previous qualifying rounds and the final eight.
Pick the individual winner of the matchup between nations. E.G. Spain to beat Italy in the final.
This is where you bet on the correct score for each tie. Ties are best of three, which includes two singles and a doubles game if needed.

Davis Cup Live Betting – Is It Worth a Punt?
If you’re looking to find value betting on the Davis Cup, then live betting is a great option. There are tons of markets to choose from, including set betting and over/under points. You can react to the momentum in-game and track betting markets to see where the value lies. If you’re new, spend a bit of time viewing how markets respond to what’s happening on court before jumping in with both feet.
Don’t Miss a Serve with Davis Cup Livestreaming
Most of the best betting sites have livestreaming options for the Davis Cup. bet365 have hosted multiple matches from the qualifiers leading up to the finals, and these are free to view. All you need is to have a funded betting account (anything over £2 will get you in) or to have placed a bet on the match you want to watch. It all ties into the live betting section, so you can stream and bet at the same time.
Writer's Note – Beware of the delay…
Jonathan Askew: If you’re streaming and betting, please note that there will be a delay between the stream and betting markets. It can be as much as 30 seconds between what’s happened live and what you see on the stream. It’s caught a lot of people out previously, and I don’t want you to make the same mistake.
Additional Davis Cup Insights
To best take advantage of the latest Davis Cup final betting odds, you need to know a little more about how it all works. We’ve posted our own tennis betting tips above, and in this section, we’ve highlighted a few areas that you can tap into if you want to curate your own bets.
Tournament Structure
The finals are the culmination of a season-long knockout that starts with a whopping 140 nations split into five groups. The winners progress to the qualifiers, where there are two more knockout rounds, before the finals include seven winners plus the host nation.
With eight teams left, it’s a straight knockout. Nations are drawn based on rankings and play a best-of-three format, starting with two singles matches and then a doubles game if the scores are tied. This is played for the quarters, semis and finals.
Key Nations to Watch
With only eight teams in, we’ve previewed all the nations for the 2025 Davis Cup to give you a quick overview of how they stand coming into the finals.
Defending champions and the nation to beat this year. Headlined by world number two, Jannik Sinner, plus a beast of a doubles pairing in Bolelli and Vavassori. They open against Austria and won’t reach rivals Spain until the final, assuming all things go well.
Krawietz and Pütz are the star doubles duos. They got depth with both Zverev and Struff options for the singles. They’ll like the slightly faster courts in Bologna and are our pick to make the final with Italy.
Question marks surround whether world number one Carlos Alcaraz will play or not. If he does, they have a great chance; without him, they will struggle to reach the final, let alone beat the Italians. Pedro Martinez and Munar provide much-needed depth.
A dangerous trio of Lehečka, Macháč, and Mensík form a team that most nations will want to avoid. They’re not the strongest, but not the weakest either, and they’ve already beaten the USA to make these finals. A one to watch, for sure.
France has a tough opener with Belgium, but they’ve strength in depth, with Corentin Moutet the star act throughout the qualifiers. They face Italy in the semi-finals, and to get past them, they’ll need to be on top form.
Belgium have surprised a few so far. Their Davis Cup final betting odds have shortened significantly after they defeated 28-time champions Australia in Sydney. They’ll be underdogs in France, but it wouldn’t be a shock to see them make it through to the semis.
Argentina are the only non-European side in the competition, beating last year's finalist, the Netherlands, in their qualifier. They have an elite doubles pairing in Zeballos and Molteni, and they’ll need them to be on top form if they are to progress. One of the underdogs, for sure.
It’s the first time that Austria have made the Davis Cup finals after a clutch win over Hungary. They will be desperate that Sebastian Ofner is fit after he withdrew in the qualifiers, but realistically, even at full strength, it’ll be a mammoth task to beat Italy in the opener.
Davis Cup Prize Money
The prize money for the 2025 Davis Cup is approximately £12 million. The winners will get a cheque for up to £2 million, and this money is split amongst the team and their association. It’s up to the winning nation to determine who gets what, essentially.

ThePuntersPage Final Say
2025 looks set to be a classic in the Davis Cup. Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz have dominated the men’s game, and we’ve got one more chance to run back the four major finals that they’ve met in so far. There’ll be value to be had from all the first-round and pre-tournament markets. Italy will be firm favourites, and their Davis Cup odds will likely be short, but don’t count Spain and Germany out, who have looked impressive throughout qualifying. This is as big as a major in the men’s games, so the bookies will be active with promotions and bonuses (boosted odds, etc.). Use our guide for your Davis Cup tips and to see where the best offers are in the lead-up.
