Indian Wells Predictions

We have studied both tours through 2025 and the early months of 2026 to come up with our Indian Wells betting tips, and we provide predictions based on statistics for both the men’s and women’s tournaments.

ATP Indian Wells Predictions

After looking into recent results and performances on the ATP Tour, in addition to the results of the last few editions of the Indian Wells Open, we have come up with some Indian Wells betting tips for the men’s singles.

Info box icon

Carlos Alcaraz to Win: Spaniard is the man to beat

Carlos Alcaraz won back-to-back Indian Wells titles in 2023 and 2024, making the semi-finals in 2025. Alcaraz can cope with any surface, including hardcourt, and, after his win at the Australian Open, he will be looking to put a strong performance in here, as he looks towards the clay court season and the second Grand Slam of the year at Roland Garros.

Info box icon

Jannik Sinner: A great bet to land his first Indian Wells title

In the eyes of many pundits, Jannik Sinner has a chance as good as Alcaraz to win. Sinner has, at the time of writing, won 81% of his matches on hardcourt during his career. He has made the semi-final here twice and you can’t rule out a maiden title at Indian Wells in 2026.

Info box icon

Taylor Fritz: A great outside bet

If you’re looking for a slight outsider, then you could do a lot worse than back 2022 champion Taylor Fritz. Fritz, an attacking baseliner with a strong serve, may have his highest win percentage on grass but he is also suited to hard court, the surface where he has reached his only Grand Slam Final (US Open 2024). He exited at the fourth round in the Australian Open, and, after a decent performance at the Dallas Open, we are tipping him to challenge strongly here.

Info box icon

Lorenzo Musetti: Worth an each-way wager

Lorenzo Musetti enjoyed his best year in 2025 and has begun 2026 in the same way. The 23-year-old reached the quarterfinals of the Australian Open this year and has achieved his highest world ranking of fifth. He hasn’t previously pulled up any trees at Indian Wells, but he is a young player with potential and a man in form. Another great option for an outside bet or for backing each-way.

WTA Indian Wells Predictions

We have studied the recent history of the women’s singles at Indian Wells, as well as the whole WTA Tour over the last 12 months, to come up with our WTA Indian Wells predictions.

Info box icon

Elena Rybakina to repeat 2023 victory

Elena Rybakina claimed her second career Grand Slam at the 2026 Australian Open, and the world number three will be keen to regain the title that she won in 2023. She can perform on all surfaces, and we think she is a great bet to win.

Info box icon

Aryna Sabalenka: World number one to win her first Indian Wells title

Aryna Sabalenka has a 74% winning rate on hardcourt, with all four of her Grand Slam titles coming on this surface. Sabalenka was runner-up here last year and was defeated in the final of the 2026 Australian Open by Rybakina. She will challenge strongly for what would be her first Indian Wells title.

Info box icon

Jessica Pegula: A great outside bet

Jessica Pegula has reached the semi-final of the last two Grand Slams, the US Open and the Australian Open. She has a win percentage of 68 on hardcourt and, while it hasn’t really happened for her at Indian Wells, this could be set to change. Her previous best performance at this tournament was reaching the quarterfinals in 2021. We are tipping her to exceed that, and we think she could be a great value each-way bet or an outside bet to win.

If you are going to get the most out of your Indian Wells betting, you must know all the options open to you. We have outlined the most popular betting markets for this tournament, available at the best tennis betting sites, to help you find wagers that suit your betting style and to maximise value.

You bet on the outright winner of the men’s and women’s singles at the Indian Wells Open. Complete your research, compare the Indian Wells outright odds, then go to your chosen bookie and place your bet.

The best bookmakers in the UK will usually offer each-way odds for big tennis tournaments. This means that you are betting on a player to win with half of your stake and to make the final with the other half.

You can bet on every individual match at Indian Wells. Simply pick the player you think will win a particular encounter and back them to win.

Even up some of the matches in the early rounds by giving the favourite a hypothetical handicap and backing them to win.

Bet on the number of games in a match. The bookmaker will set a line, and you need to bet under or over that total.

When betting live, you can bet on players to win the next set.

You can bet on the number of aces in a match or served by a specific player.

Wager on the number of sets in a match. Will it be settled in straight sets or will it go the distance?

Fancy a player to make a fast start? Bet on them to win the first set.

Bet across several matches in the tournament. You could select multiple matches from both the men’s and women’s tournaments.

They have a great in-play section, as well as loads of stats and key info. They live up to their reputation as an industry giant.

Additional Indian Wells Tennis Insights

As well as providing odds, recommended bookies and tips for the Indian Wells tennis tournament, we have undertaken some extra research to supply you with some more key info. A little bit of background knowledge can go a long way when building your tennis betting strategy for a tournament and we have looked into the schedule, past results and players to watch outside of our Indian Wells predictions.

Key Players to Watch

We have looked at both the men’s and women’s singles ahead of the Indian Wells Masters to come up with some players to look out for in addition to our Indian Wells betting tips.

Novak Djokovic: Five-time champion can’t be ignored – Even at 38

Novak Djokovic proved at the Australian Open that he is still a major threat in any tournament. For years, his only concession to Old Father Time was to reduce his tournament schedule a little to aid recovery. And while he might be starting to slow down a little more, he is still a match for the world’s best. Yes, he benefited from a little fortune in some of the earlier rounds, but it was still a fantastic performance to see off Jannik Sinner in the semi-finals at Melbourne. Djokovic, a 24-time Grand Slam Winner, has won at Indian Wells five times. He has a win rate of 82% at Indian Wells and 84% on hardcourt. He will be in the mix.

Daniil Medvedev: Consistently a BNP Paribas Indian Wells Open contender.

If you’re looking at horses for courses, then Daniil Medvedev is a man to keep an eye on. The 2021 US Open Champion has produced strong performances in the Californian desert in each of the last three years. He was runner-up here in 2023 and 2024, reaching the semi-finals last year. Medvedev has a 73%-win rate on hardcourt. If any of the favourites slip up, he could be primed to take his maiden Indian Wells title.

Jack Draper: 2025 champion could have a say

Jack Draper was an impressive winner at Indian Wells last year. However, Draper has struggled with an arm injury that saw him withdraw from the US Open. He made a winning return in the Davis Cup after almost six months out. If his recovery continues to go to plan, Draper could prove to be a difficult opponent for anyone. Depending on his fitness, he is one to watch.

Iga Swiatek: World number two could be in contention

Iga Swiatek won at Indian Wells in 2022 and 2024, reaching the semi-final stage in 2023 and 2025. She has an 88%-win rate at this tournament compared to a 78% winning rate overall on hardcourt. She may be at her best on clay, but Indian Wells is clearly to her liking. Swiatek will have been disappointed to exit the Australian Open, the only Major she hasn’t won. She may well bounce back here.

Mirra Andreeva: Title defence on the cards?

Mirra Andreeva won here last year, and a successful defence of her title is certainly a possibility. There will be others who have shorter odds to win Indian Wells but Andreeva, currently ranked seventh in the world, is a quality player with an 86%-win rate here. Could be worth an each-way punt.

Coco Gauff: American to return to form?

Coco Gauff exited the Australian Open in the quarterfinals and crashed out of the Qatar Open in the first round. Ranked fourth in the world, Gauff will be keen to bounce back in a big tournament in her home country. Gauff made the semi-finals at Indian Wells in 2024. She has a 69% winning rate in the event and a 71% winning rate on hardcourt. She hasn’t really hit the heights in this tournament so far in her career, but the two-time Grand Slam winner has the talent to challenge for the title.

BNP Paribas Open Indian Wells Schedule

The Indian Wells schedule for 2026 sees qualifying take place between Sunday, 1st March and Tuesday, 3rd of March. The first round, for both the men’s singles and the women’s singles, commences on Wednesday, 4th March. The WTA semi-finals are due to take place on Friday, 13th March, with the ATP semis the following day. Both the men’s and women’s singles finals are on Sunday, 15th March.

Indian Wells Prize Money

The BNP Paribas Open offers top players considerable financial rewards for success. The Indian Wells prize money totals at $17.991.110, with $1.200.000 and $1.130.000 going to the winner of the men’s and women’s singles, respectively. This tournament is one of the most prestigious outside the Majors and the level of competition, ranking points and the purse attract the best players in the world. This also means that the bookies will be giving the tournament close attention, so keep your eyes open for sign-up offers, odds boosts and other promos.
