Golf season only truly kicks off when that sacred trip down Magnolia Lane to Augusta National begins, and our US Masters tips go live. We’re just days away from the former, but luckily for you, we are ready to go with the latter. We pulled a Rory McIlroy winner out of the bag at 12/1 last year, and we’re looking to go back-to-back for 2026. Let’s dive in.
US Masters Betting Tips
It might be one of four majors in the men’s game, but there aren’t many that would argue against it being the best. Markets go live early with the best golf betting sites, so we can find value before Joe Public gets to work. Here are our top US Masters betting tips for 2026.
Patrick Reed Each Way
Let’s kick things off with an old friend. Enter, Patrick Reed. It’s been a turbulent couple of months for the former Masters champion, ending his contract at LIV to make a sensational return to the PGA Tour. He’s being made to earn his stripes for full playing privileges, but he’s doing it in some style on the DP World Tour.
In his four starts for 2026, he has two wins (Qatar Masters and Dubai Desert Classic) and a second place (Bahrain Championship). He’s arguably playing the best golf of his career right now, with a real bee in his bonnet to prove the haters wrong.
His record at the Masters is up there with the best of them. Since his win in 2018, he’s had five top 12 finishes from seven starts. It’s a course that suits his elite approach, short game and putting, and it’s paid dividends for him over the years. Given how he’s started 2026, it would be no surprise to see him grab that second Green Jacket, but a safer US Masters golf betting tip would be an each-way bet at 30/1.
Russell Henley Top 10 Finish
Scottie Scheffler aside, there haven’t been many more consistent players on the PGA Tour than Russell Henley over the last 12 months. The American picked up his second career win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational back in March 2025 and hasn’t looked back, with nine top 20 finishes from 14 starts.
His record at the Masters is pretty good as well. T4 in 2023 was a highlight, with four top 20’s in his last seven visits to Augusta National. He did, however, miss the cut last year, but he followed a poor opening round of 79 in tough conditions with a solid 68 to miss the line by one.
Henley is now the world number six, yet he still seems to go under the radar in almost every tournament he enters. We can get US Masters betting odds of 11/2 for a top-10 finish, and to us, that looks huge, especially if paired with a nice free bet for the week, adding even more value to this pick.

Most Popular US Masters Betting Markets
One of the best things about the Masters is the sheer volume of markets available. It’s unlike any other tournament, and you’ll find the best golf betting sites really go to town this week. Here’s what you can expect.
The easiest and most popular market – simply bet on the player wearing the Green Jacket come Sunday evening.
Each-way bets are split into two. Half of your stake is on the player to win, and half is on the player to place. For the place bet, these generally pay at 1/4 or 1/5 of the win price and include the top 3-5 places, depending on where you bet.
Bet on a player to either play or not play over the weekend. The cut line at the Masters is the top 60 players and ties after the second round.
Select which player is leading the tournament after each round. The most popular market for this is the first round, but some bookies will run this for all four rounds as well.
Match bets are where the bookies pit two players head-to-head, and you need to pick the player with the lowest score. This can be over 18, 38 and 72 holes.
Bet on the player to finish the highest in their first time ever playing at the Masters.
Reserved for those good enough to have won the tournament before. Bet on the highest place finisher of previous Masters champions.
Back the player from a single nationality to finish the highest. For example, top Englishman, top European, top American, etc.

Pick SBK if only for their odds
Jonathan Askew: It’s tough to choose just one bookie for the week, but if I had to, it would be SBK. The reason? Well, it’s their odds. They’re as much as 20% higher than that of the next cab off the rank for outrights, which is huge. If you’re betting each-way, then it makes a ton of difference. That said, if you’re looking for promos and you’re betting live, I’d go with bet365 every time. Their shot tracker is phenomenal, and you can watch highlights within the in-play betting section. Between the pair, it’s a foolproof combo.
Additional US Masters Insights
To accompany our Masters betting tips, we want to add a few insights as to what we look for in your own picks. If you’re looking to go solo, use this section to find a bit of value from the best online bookies for the week ahead.
Key Golfers to Watch
It’s one of the most competitive fields of the season, so there are plenty of names that will have a shout this week. We’ve moved away from our Masters tips to bring a handful of players to watch who should be there or thereabouts down the stretch on Sunday.
Scottie Sheffler
We’ve shockingly almost gone a full article without talking about the two-time champ and world number one, Scottie Scheffler. Let’s face it, if you’re backing him this week, then godspeed to you. He’ll head into Augusta National as a short-priced favourite and rightly so, given that he’s played it six times and never finished lower than T19. In fact, he’s been inside the top 10 of each of his last 18 tournaments. It’s Scottie’s world right now, and we’re just living in it.
Rory McIlroy
Next up, last year’s winner, Rory McIlroy. 2025 will go down in history for Rory, finally winning that elusive Green Jacket and completing the career Grand Slam. He’s looked sharp early doors this season, with a change of irons paying off for a T3 at the Dubai Invitational. The weight of will he or won’t he has gone, and it wouldn’t be at all surprising to see him go back-to-back this year.
Bryson DeChambeau
Bryson will be a problem in 2026. He had top ten finishes in three of the four majors last year and has finished T4 and T5 in his last two starts at Augusta. The brash arrogance that he had for a period about Augusta National – stating that it was more like a par 67 – has gone, and his newfound respect for the course is paying off. It’s not been a great start on LIV so far, but he lives for majors now, and will be well fancied this week.
Tommy Fleetwood
We’ve spoken about 2025 being an epic year for Rory, and it was much the same for his good friend Tommy Fleetwood. With two wins to his name, he’s now world number four and is another who's got a decent record here. A T3 in 2024 was his best finish, but he played well for much of 2025 for T21, with the putter letting him down in Round 3 to remove any real chance of winning.
A Deep Dive into Augusta National Golf Course: Field Analysis for Punters
Augusta is the only course of the four majors that is played at the same place every year. It’s unique in that everyone gets to know the famous holes like Amen Corner (holes 11-13), and it’s all very familiar. But there are things you can pick up from a punting perspective.
It’s a beast in terms of length, measuring 7,555 yards for its par 72 rating. Winning scores are generally around the low teens, so it’s not a course that players can just bomb and gouge.
The real defence is not the length, it’s the elevation and shaved run-offs. If you miss it in the wrong places, you go from birdies to bogeys incredibly quickly. It’s one of the things that makes it unique. The greens will be rapid, and the place will be picture-perfect.
There are two key areas we focus on. The first is tee-to-green stats. If you’re offline off the tee or you miss greens, you can’t score around here. Winners always gain strokes in this metric over the field, and most are in the top 10 for the week.
Second, par 5 scoring is key. If you make pars on the par 3s and 4s, you’re delighted as a player. The opportunities to score are on the par 5’s. This is why McIlroy was so successful last year, leading the field in par 5 scoring.
What’s the US Masters Prize Money?
The prize money for the 2026 US Masters is $21 million. The winner will receive $4.2 million for their week's work. Not too shabby, right? Given that this is a major, it’s equal to the biggest purse of the year and attracts the world’s best as a result.
