Betfair Football Jackpot – Correct Score Pick 4 Preview
Uruguay v France
Uruguay will look to keep this one tight, they've conceded just one goal so far in the competition and have probably the best centre half partnership here with Atlético duo Diego Godín and Jose Gimenez. France really did click in their last match in the attacking department at least, but that was against a terrible Argentina defence. 4 of the 6 meetings have ended 0-0.
Predictions: 0-0, 1-0, 1-1, 0-1.
Brazil v Belgium
It's hard to see this one being low scoring, and it's the only game where the goal line is set at 2.5 with all the others lower. Brazil can exploit Belgium's porous defence, most teams have tried to exploit Carrasco at wing back and have been largely successful. However it's hard to see this Belgium side not scoring as they have different threats going forward.
Predictions: 1-1, 2-1, 3-1.
England v Sweden
England have relied heavily on set pieces in their progression to the final 8, with Harry Kane scoring all 4 penalties been awarded. Sweden have also had two penalties that have both been converted by Andreas Granqvist. This promises to be a game where England will monopolise possession and Sweden will ask them to break down their two banks of four. This could be tight.
Predictions: 1-0, 2-0.
Russia v Croatia
You'd have been hard pressed to find someone who expected Russia to get this far, especially with their depleted squad but they've done it and deserve credit for their stout defensive discipline. Croatia will need their midfield and forwards to improve again after failing to cause Denmark many problems. This is probably the toughest fixture to call, Croatia are the better side and as this game is in Sochi, the vociferous crowd might not be the same as it would be in Moscow or Saint Petersburg.
Predictions: 0-0, 0-1, 1-1.
