There are several payment options available for customers. With Highbet, UK customers can make deposits via debit card (Visa and Mastercard), PayPal, bank transfer (instant banking) Trustly, MuchBetter and paysafecard.
The minimum deposit for each of these methods is £10, while information regarding maximum deposits wasn’t accessible. 2.5% fees are also included with Highbet deposits, which is a downer.
The withdrawal time with each method varies. For example, customers can expect to receive their funds within six days with a debit card, two days with PayPal and MuchBetter, and four days with Trustly. You should receive your funds between two to six days if you’re withdrawing via instant banking.
Depositing Funds
To kick-start the depositing process, click the yellow ‘Deposit’ icon located in the top left-hand corner of the homepage. You’ll then see the image captured above of the list of Highbet’s payment options available to UK customers.
We opted to deposit via debit card and all we had to do was fill out the card information that’s almost always required. Thus, we had to list the name on our card, card number, expiry date and security code.
Highbet then provides three default deposit options (£25, £40 and £50), but we deposited the minimum £10 – typing this figure into the ‘Amount’ bar. As you can see, a 2.5% fee was added to our deposit, meaning we were charged £10.25 altogether.
A click of the yellow ‘DEPOSIT’ icon should conclude the process.
Highbet then confirmed our successful deposit via the above receipt.
Withdrawing Winnings
The yellow bar ubiquitous on the left-hand side of the homepage denotes your Highbet balance, and we wished to withdraw these funds. To do so, we clicked ‘My Profile’. That opened up the below screen.
To withdraw, click the blue ‘cashout’ bar located underneath ‘Deposit’.
Then, all we had to do was confirm our cashout method and amount. However, we were only allowed to withdraw £11, meaning £0.30 was still left in our Highbet account. By requesting ‘Cashout’, the process should conclude.
The above screen depicts the bookmaker receiving our withdrawal request, and the funds arrived in our account the following day.

Highbet’s football coverage is sound for the most part and there are almost 1,500 football events available to bet on at the time of writing, with the most popular fixtures boasting over 250 markets. There are no pre-match statistics accessible, though – these only appear in-play.
However, Highbet’s sufficient football coverage would be undermined should their odds not be competitive.
To measure the quality of Highbet’s margins we used the odds overround. The overround is a calculation that combines the total percentage probability of all selections in a match coming true. Naturally, the result of this should add up to 100% – however, this does not factor in the profits made by the bookmaker. For this reason, it is widely accepted that any figure below 110% is considered to indicate fair odds.
We picked three games at random from the Premier League, FA Cup and EFL Championship that returned margins of 104.60%, 107.74% and 104.75% respectively. Thus, Highbet’s margins are both consistent and fair.

Placing a Bet
After exploring Highbet’s sportsbook, we fancied placing a bet on the football. The image above shows a long list of the countries that boast leagues covered by the bookmaker. Keeping it close to home, we opted to select England and, more specifically, the Premier League.
After clicking the England tab followed by the Premier League box, all the league’s upcoming matches then appeared in the centre of the homepage – ordered by date. As you can see, we’re hovering over the Manchester City vs Brentford game with the hosts being favourites to win the match (a massive 13/100).
We decided that this was the bet we wanted to place and by clicking the 13/100 odds, this bet went straight into our bet slip located on the right-hand side of the page. Our bet slip is shown below.
To complete the process, we confirmed our stake (£10) before clicking the yellow (it turns white when you hover over it) ‘Place Bets!’ icon. Once clicked, Highbet will then process and authorise our bet.
This was completed in a matter of seconds and the confirmation of our bet can be seen below.
Esports
Highbet’s esports coverage is broad. A multitude of games are offered, including FIFA, NBA, NHL, Counter-Strike, Dota 2, League of Legends, Starcraft 2, Overwatch, Valorant, Rocket League and Call of Duty. However, only a few of these games currently have listed events that are available to bet on.
Despite the broad range of esports games offered by Highbet, the markets offered are very basic. In fact, for the vast majority of events, you can only bet on the match winner.

To do so, we accessed the small chat icon located in the bottom-right corner of the page. The below image will appear, which shows that you can contact the bookmaker via live chat or email. The Highbet support team is available every day between 08:00 and 00:00 CET (07:00 and 23:00 BST).
We opted to test Highbet’s live chat function, which then revealed the bookmaker’s previously- unseen FAQs section. Common queries are divided into ten sections, with categories including Privacy, Bonuses, Deposits and Withdrawals.
Nevertheless, we still went ahead with trying to contact Highbet via live chat. Our session began by clicking ‘Customer Support’ shown in the above image.
We asked whether Highbet currently offered a VIP or loyalty programme for its customers. Their response was swift: a simple no.

We appreciated the aesthetic of Highbet’s website. It looks slick, cool and modern with a blue, white and yellow colour scheme followed throughout.
However, that’s as good as it gets in this regard. There were a few technical faults with the site including lag and a delayed response time. Moreover, we have to question the display of the prominent markets relating to football odds.
As the above image shows, it’s very messy with the bookie trying to fit several markets into a couple of rows. In order to get a more structured viewing, we had to filter what odds and markets we wanted to be displayed. This makes it a lot clearer.
Events, markets and odds dominate the centre of the page, while a list of Highbet’s different products is located on the left-hand side. Just inside of that is the sub-category menu, e.g. sportsbook, with your bet slip ubiquitous on the right-hand side. This aids and fastens the betting process.
There is no blog, nor are there any statistics to access.

While Highbet emphasises upon its casino, more effort has to be made on the promotion front to entice new customers and, more importantly, retain their interests.
Overall, however, Highbet boasts an impressive sportsbook with odds that can compete with the very best in the industry. We loved the website design, but the structure and functionality of the site need work, with such issues being expected in the primitive stages of its emergence.
Highbet’s a promising product for sure, but teething issues must be fixed before we recommend this bookmaker to punters.
