easyBet is also licensed by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission to provide services to customers outside of Great Britain. The company registration number is 1827.

The bookmaker has valid SSL Encryption, which is a big tick in the safety box. Nonetheless, don’t forget that email communication with easyBet is not encrypted, so be careful when contacting the customer service team.

When it comes to safe gambling, easyBet offer several tools for customers. Gross deposit limits and net deposit limits are both available, as is self-exclusion. A total of £20 in free bets isn’t much, but at least all the terms and conditions are relatively straightforward, meaning you shouldn’t have many problems when looking to qualify for the promotion.

We’re not just having a look at one promotion in this easyBet review… we’re going through them all. Below, is a rundown of the other available promotions for customers, including a tasty Premier League offer.

Football Promotion – 12:30 KO Build 1, Get 2

Customers can get 2 x £5 bet builder free bets for the Premier League weekend when they wager £20 or more on a bet builder for the 12:30 Saturday game. The qualifying bet must be at 2/1 odds or greater, and the minimum number of legs is four. It is important to note that if there is no 12:30 Saturday game in the Premier League, the promotion is based on the first fixture in the competition in that given weekend. Midweek games don’t count towards the promotion. Most importantly, customers must opt in to the offer, otherwise their qualifying bet builder will not be eligible for the free bet.

Horse Racing Promotion – The Race to Cheltenham

easyBet punters can get a £10 free bet for Cheltenham when they place and settle £30 or more in horse racing bets from Monday to Sunday each week. Qualifying bets must consist of a minimum of 1 x £10 back bet and a 1 x £10 multiple. On top of that, all bets must be placed at odds of at least 1/1. One of the few negatives during this easyBet review is the lack of a VIP or loyalty programme. Any kind of bonus scheme or rewards package would really spice things up for customers – especially the loyal ones.

Seb Sternik: The lack of a VIP programme does not necessarily mean that the bookies does not reward its high rollers. If you are a customer that deposits more funds than your average bettor, you may want to contact customer support and see if they have any provisions for their top punters.

From the available information, we can see that minimum deposits across the various payment methods is £10 – an industry standard. There are some bookmakers that offer lower deposit limits, and you may want to consider that, depending on how much you’re planning to bet with.

It is great to see that Apple Pay and Google Pay are both available payment options, with both giving customers an easy way of depositing funds through their mobile devices.

When it comes to maximum deposits, we were unable to find the information. We can, however, say that customers are able to set their own deposit limits. For instance, easyBet offers a 30-day rolling Net Deposit limit of £5,000.

Before downloading the easyBet app, we had a look at some of the comments in the App Store. A smattering of people criticised the lack of football markets, which led us to do some investigating.

From what we can see, the criticisms are warranted. We checked out the available markets for a high-profile Premier League fixture around eight hours before kick-off, and we couldn’t see any single markets for corners, cards or anytime goalscorers, just to name a few. When it comes to choice, the bookie covers all the major competitions such as the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and the Champions League. There are also less known leagues, such as the Ethiopia Premier League and the Venezuela Primera Division. Spoilt for choice.

easyBet Horse Racing Betting Coverage

The horse racing section is very strong. In the past, we have covered bookmakers who had a horse racing section but didn’t have any markets for UK racing. That’s certainly not the case here.

easyBet have a solid platform for racing, offering odds on races from the UK, South Africa, USA and Australia. There is also an Ante Post section, with markets on all the biggest upcoming meetings.

Another feature we like, is a drop-down information box when you press on a specific selection. Customers are provided with form, ratings, jockey, trainer, owner, weight, age and even analyst comments.

easyBet Tennis Betting Coverage

At the time of writing our easyBet review, we weren’t exactly blessed with major tennis events. Nevertheless, market availability on tennis matches was poor.

When checking out a live ATP Dubai match, we only had a handful of markets to choose from. We couldn’t bet on who would win the next point, game or set. No markets on aces either. To top it all off, there is no livestreaming.

easyBet eSports Betting Coverage

There are no markets for eSports on easyBet. Disappointing if you like that kind of thing, but unnoticeable if you’re only looking to bet on the big mainstream sports.

easyBet have a TV Specials and Politics sections on their sportsbook. Customers are not spoilt for choice though, with only three markets available across both sections at the time of writing. TV Specials have an outright market on Eurovision, while Politics has two election markets – one for the UK and the other for the US. Not much to get excited about.

easyBet Live Betting

easyBet does have an in-play betting section, but we don’t think it will be winning rewards anytime soon. Only selected sports are available for live betting, which typically includes football, tennis and cricket. Other sports, such as snooker and basketball, also make appearances on the in-play section.

When it comes to markets, there’s not a lot choice. Market availability depends on the prominence of the event, but even top-tier football matches don’t come with much choice, bar the standard BTTS, handicaps, correct score and total goals.

When you compare this to some of the best online bookies in the UK such as bet365, William Hill, Coral or Betfred, you can see that easyBet are still some way behind in this area.

easyBet Cash Out

easyBet does offer a cash out option on selected bets and sports, allowing customers to settle their bets early and take a portion of their winnings before the event ends.

The cash out function can be found in the bet slip, but because the bookie operates as a betting exchange, the process may differ somewhat to other bookmakers. Customers may be offsetting their original bets with another player’s offer, rather than a traditional cash out. Nevertheless, this is a great feature that provides customers with an extra tool in their pursuit of bashing the bookies.

During the production of our easyBet review, we have reached out via live chat and email to settle a handful of queries. The customer service team have been great when it came to handling our questions, while the response times have been rapid to say the least.

The only negative we can mention concerns the phone option. The easyBet website tells customers they can request a callback in the live chat, and we were looking forward to testing the waters.

We tried this option, though we were ultimately turned down by the operator who said: “While our team does occasionally make outbound calls, these are only initiated internally by our departments if it is absolutely necessary to resolve a specific issue.
