Rory McIlroy to win: 9/1 with BetMGM
After retaining his Masters title back in April, Rory still has the chance to seal all four majors this year for the first-ever season Grand Slam. A tough ask, and highly unlikely, but he has a good chance this week. It's a course he has played well at in the past, finishing within the Top 10 last time the PGA Tour visited Arinimink Golf Club in 2018. It's a course that will reward length, and between him and Scottie right now, I feel like Rory has the edge, albeit only just.
Matt Fitzpatrick to Win His Second Major: 22/1 with bet365
The Fitzpatricks have been all over the golf news of late, with Matt's brother Alex securing his PGA Tour card at the Zurich Classic and then going on to finish inside the Top 10 of two consecutive signature events. But it's Matt who has a great chance this week, rocketing up to fourth in the world after three wins in his last five starts. If you're looking at the chasing pack outside of McIlroy and Scheffler, Matt Fitzpatrick would be a solid pick.
Si Woo Kim Each-Way: 60/1 with Spreadex
Si Woo Kim is often a forgotten man when it comes to golf betting, but the South Korean has been one of the most consistent players on tour in 2026, with seven top 10 finishes. His major record is poor, but his talent is too much not to contend in one of these soon. Could this week be the time he kicks on? Quite possibly, and at 60/1, he's well worth an each-way punt.

Key Golfers to Watch
We have highlighted several of the top contenders for the US PGA Championship in 2025. Check out the players to watch ahead of making your picks.
Scottie Scheffler
It says a lot about how dominant Scottie Scheffler has become when he leads off majors as a 4/1 favourite. It's not as if he doesn't have a host of truly great golfers trying to chase him down, either,, which makes it even more incredible. The only thing that might sway you to look elsewhere is that, even though he's been a model of consistency, he's won just once in 2026, which, for him, is poor.
Jon Rahm
According to Data Golf, Jon Rahm is the second-best golfer in the world right now, sandwiched between Scheffler and McIlroy. The Spaniard had a disappointing Masters in April, but bounced back with a win at LIV Golf Mexico and a T8 finish last week in Virginia. He has the game to win a PGA Championship, and he's likely going to grab one before he retires, but whether it's this week is tough to say. What Rahm does have is one of the best approach play games in golf, so if he can get it in play off the tee, he will be there or thereabouts.
Rickie Fowler
Rickie Fowler is starting to find some form after a shocking couple of years on tour. The five-time PGA Tour winner fell as low as 163rd in the world, but is making a comeback and is in great form heading into this week. He will be a lot of people's picks at around 60/1, and is a great each-way option if you're looking for a bit of value.
A Deep Dive into Aronimink Golf Club in Philadelphia: Course Analysis for Punters
Aronimink Golf Club returns to professional golf for the first time since 2018. This Donald Ross course has been designed to strike a real balance for players, and while elite drivers will have a significant advantage around here, it's not a deal-breaker, with quirky angles, deep bunkers, and hung, sloping greens all in place to catch players out.
The course is a Par 70, measuring 7,394 yards and rewards players who can ‘miss' in the right spots. They've added almost 300 yards to the course since that 2018 BMW Championship, and while many pundits are adamant that length off the tee is not an advantage, this is still a brutally long track for just a Par 70, and if it rains, the rough will be up.
What’s the US PGA Championship Prize Money?
The tournament organisers tend to publish the full purse breakdown on completion of the third round, though for the 2025 US PGA Championship, the prize pot was a whopping $18,500,000, with the winner, Scottie Scheffler, receiving around $3,400,000. The prize money on offer – along with the prestige of the tournament – attracts the best golfers in the world, from both the PGA Tour and the LIV Tour.

US PGA Championship Golf Betting Markets
Few sports are as suited to betting as golf. Large fields of competitors tend to make for generous odds even on the tournament favourites. Additionally, there is a huge range of betting markets available. Check out the best options for US PGA betting.
With an outright winner bet, you'll need to predict who the winner of the tournament will be. If your selection does the business and comes out on top, your wager will be deemed successful. This market really is as simple as that, with payouts calculated according to the outright odds you accepted when you placed the bet.
Pick a player to finish in the top 5, 10 or 20 positions. This is perfect if you are confident that your selection will perform well but you can’t confidently say that they will do enough to win.
This bet is like two in one. First, you back your pick to win, and if they take the top spot, you get the full payout. The second wager gives you a smaller return if they finish in one of the top spots. Most bookies pay out for extra places in the Majors, so for the PGA Championship it is likely to up to eighth. It’s a smart way to hedge your bets when there is a competitive field, while still aiming for the top prize.
This usually comes in the form of Over/Under betting, where you wager on the number of shots the winner will have over the runner-up.
Bet on any player from a specific country to take the PGA title.
Similarly, you can select a country and bet on which player will provide that nation’s highest finish.
Place a bet on any player to get a hole-in-one at the PGA. There have been 17 this century, however, you should still get good odds!
Pick out a player to finish higher than a specific group of rivals.
This time you can narrow it down to a showdown between two players, where you bet on who you think will come out on top.
Pick the number of birdies or eagles that will be bagged by an individual player in the tournament. This can sometimes come as an Over/Under market.
