If you’re after an operator that can walk the tightrope between a brilliant sportsbook and a strong betting exchange, our BETDAQ review reckons they’ve struck just about the perfect balance. Their sportsbook delivers top odds on many sports most punters want, while the exchange provides a broader range of betting options than almost any other, all backed by some of the most generous welcome offers around. Do they cover every single market? Not quite. But with excellent live coverage, world-class customer service, rock-solid security and a slick, well-designed platform, BETDAQ offers more than enough to keep most punters happy.
What We Like About BETDAQ
-
Exceptionally low 2% commission even after the welcome offer ends
-
Two-step authentication adds an extra layer of security
-
Personalised promotions sent directly to your email or phone
What We Don’t Like About BETDAQ
-
Lack of Exchange options on less popular sports
-
No livestreaming outside horse racing
- Broad selection of responsible gaming tools
- Two-step authentication
- Licensed by both the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) and the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC)
- A small number of negative customer reviews online
There’s nothing more important to this BETDAQ review than your safety, so let’s get right to it. BETDAQ is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, meaning whether you’re at home or abroad, you can rest easy knowing they are legal, legitimate and subject to strict regulation.
Your private data is also well protected thanks to advanced SSL encryption. On top of that, BETDAQ goes the extra mile with Two-Step authentication, adding another layer of defence against account breaches. All of this is clearly outlined in their transparent privacy policy, available at the bottom of the homepage.
The results speak for themselves. We found no evidence of proven security breaches, and public reviews on platforms like Trustpilot and the app stores reflect an outstanding reputation. Sure, there are the odd complaints, but you’d be hard pressed to find a bookmaker without them.
The operator also does all it can to keep your BETDAQ betting responsible with a broad selection of tools like stake and deposit limits, time-outs, reality checks and self-exclusion. This is all backed by expert support via partners like GAMCARE, GAMSTOP and Gambling Therapy, accessible through their comprehensive “Safer Gambling” hub. Put simply, BETDAQ have gone above and beyond to provide safe, secure and responsible betting. It’s top marks from us.
- Register within minutes
- Easily opt-in to extra promotions
- Most verification happens automatically
- It’s not clear this is your ONLY chance to opt-into the welcome offers
BETDAQ UK gets your betting adventure off to a flying start with an easy-breezy sign-up process. In mere few minutes, you’ll unlock access to both the sportsbook and the BETDAQ betting exchange in one go. Just follow these straightforward steps and you’ll be ready to start betting lickety-split.
Make sure you enter your promo code during registration
BETDAQ are one of the most generous UK bookmakers when it comes to rolling out the red carpet for newcomers, featuring a broad selection of welcome offers. But here’s the kicker: you need to enter the relevant promo code in the final stage of registration, or you will miss out completely.
KYC Account Verification
Most reading this BETDAQ review will not need to verify their account. It usually gets sorted automatically. That was exactly what happened with us. We just deposited, had a punt and withdrew without any extra fuss.
That said, as a fully licensed UK bookmaker, BETDAQ might ask you to confirm your identity to meet KYC regulations. Sounds complicated? It’s a doddle. If there’s issues, you’ll get a message saying they need a bit more identification. All you have to do is contact customer service, explain what’s going on and provide the right documents.
They accept photo ID, like a copy of your driving licence or passport, along with a recent utility bill or bank statement. If everything checks out, you’re usually done and dusted within minutes.
BETDAQ Sign-Up Offer
- A trio of fantastic sports welcome offers
- 0% commission for 100 days or up to £1000 cashback helps make this a top betting exchange
- Bet £10 Get £10 on Virtuals promo comes with no wagering requirements
- You can only choose one offer
BETDAQ sports punters have no less than three different welcome offers to choose from. What a welcome party. First, for those interested in exchange betting, you can enjoy 0% commission for 100 days when you use promo code OCOMM100. Or you can choose to get up to £1,000 cashback on your first month’s BETDAQ commission with promo code DAQBACK. Both are fantastic deals that put more money in your pocket with minimum extra hassle.
And if this was just a BETDAQ betting exchange review, they’d be scoring top marks from us. Unfortunately, the traditional sportsbook’s “Bet £10 Get £10 On Virtuals” offer isn’t quite as broadly appealing. It does what it says on the tin: use promo code V1010, and if your first bet loses (minimum odds 2.0), you get a tenner back to use on virtuals for seven days with no wagering requirements.
It’s a quality offer, but we wish the free bet was available on more markets. While those virtuals are great, they’re not for everyone. Plus, the love it will receive is limited by their strict one welcome promo per customer rule. Once you’ve made your pick, that’s your lot.
Longer timeframe makes 0% commission the smarter pick
Ben Gibson: Unless you're a huge fan of virtuals or don't plan on using the BETDAQ betting exchange at all, I'd always steer you toward the commission-based welcome offers. They're astoundingly generous and, in my view, a real highlight of any BETDAQ reviews. Both options are strong, but personally, I’d go with the 0% commission for 100 days. The extended timeframe makes a big difference, especially if you're not betting heavily enough in that first month to fully benefit from the cashback offer.
BETDAQ Other Promotions
- Offers sent directly to you
- Personalised promotions based on your activity
- Terms and conditions have been excellent on every promo we’ve seen
- Lack of permanent promotions beyond welcome offers
This is a classic case of good news bad news. When you head over to the BETDAQ UK promotions page, all you will find are the welcome offers we already mentioned. Not exactly a treasure trove of bonuses.
But before you start thinking this part of our BETDAQ review is a bust, remember that option to opt in during registration? That really matters here. BETDAQ UK does offer promotions for existing customers, they just send them directly to you rather than putting them on display.
Which does make things a little tricky for our BETDAQ sportsbook review. Our research suggests these personalised offers are genuinely sent out quite regularly. The only thing is, we cannot tell you exactly what to expect.
If we had to sum it up, we would say this. It is lovely having that bit of personal service, no doubt about it. But truth be told, we would like to have seen some proper permanent promotions too. Something solid to build on, with all the extra little offers adding a bit of sparkle on top.
BETDAQ VIP and Loyalty Programme
- Promotions are sent consistently to existing customers, acting like a loyalty programme
- The absence of a VIP scheme will not bother plenty of punters
- The exchange welcome offers lasts a nice long time
- There is simply no proper loyalty or VIP program available
Right, let’s get down to brass tacks. BETDAQ does not offer any kind of VIP or loyalty bonus, whether you’re using their sportsbook or the betting exchange. How much does that matter? Well, that really depends on what sort of punter you are.
The welcome offers are top-notch, and you could even see the promotions sent straight to your BETDAQ contact details as a kind of loyalty bonus. Plus, for plenty of punters, those big VIP schemes are a bit irrelevant anyway, as they often require a huge amount of betting to qualify. So, it really comes down to how you like to play.
- £10 minimum for most deposit and withdrawals
- No maximum withdrawal
- No fees whatsoever
- £200 minimum deposit for bank transfer
BETDAQ offers enough flexibility in both payment methods and limits that just about every punter should find things smooth sailing. The only notable upper restriction is on debit cards, which do have a £15,000 per daily limit, but for all other methods, no maximum is posted (both for deposits and withdrawals). Payments can be declined if the amount seems too high for your account history, but BETDAQ’s track record suggests that’s a rare occurrence.
Minimum deposits and withdrawals are set at £10 across the board, with the odd exception of bank transfers, which carry a £200 minimum deposit. Processing times are about as quick as you’ll get for each method, and the process itself is simple, no faff, just a few basic payment details. In short: if they support your preferred payment method (and odds are, they do), you’re good to go.

How to Deposit Funds to BETDAQ – My Experience
Finished signing up and ready to add some funds to your BETDAQ sportsbook account? No worries. The whole process should take minutes if not moments. Just follow these simple steps and you are all set.
How to Withdraw Funds from BETDAQ – My Experience
Withdrawing your funds is just as easy as depositing them, which is great, because your winnings don’t mean much if they never reach your account. Once again, this BETDAQ review is happy to confirm that the banking process is easy-peasy lemon squeezy, especially the withdrawal part.
To withdraw funds, simply open ‘My Account', go to ‘Banking', select ‘Withdrawal', choose your payment method, and confirm the amount. If there are no issues with your account, the money should be deducted from your available balance immediately, confirming that the withdrawal is being processed. If not, it's likely that your account hasn't been verified yet. Once verification is complete, you'll be able to withdraw your funds.
- Access to both sportsbook and betting exchange
- 18 sports covered in great depth
- Popularity means there is always active exchange betting available
- Little coverage of niche sports
The sports offering here is already miles ahead of what most bookies can manage, simply because you get access to both the BETDAQ sportsbook and the betting exchange, and both options give you a choice of 18 different sports.
That’s more than enough to cover all the big hitters like horse racing, football, tennis or boxing. Even better, what they do cover is done properly. We are talking about hundreds of odds on major events, which adds up to thousands available at any one time. Thanks to the popularity of the BETDAQ exchange, there’s always loads of activity, and we found the sportsbook prices to be competitive, both in terms of overround and compared to what others are offering.
That said, 18 sports doesn’t leave much room for niche options. But considering the balance they’re striking here, we still view the selection as broadly brilliant. Only a complete lack of esports is something we’d consider a true letdown. But if that’s not something that bothers you and you’re after UK bookmakers with both sportsbook and betting exchange, you will be hard pressed to find anything better than this.
The popularity of the BETDAQ exchange has a big impact on both the variety and quality of your options, and football punters benefit more than most. We were able to back or lay all sorts of markets like Match Odds, Over or Under, Goal Lines, Correct Score, Handicaps, First Half and a whole host of others. Most of these had over a grand matched consistently, which gives you a level of freedom that few other platforms can match.
But of course, this is not just a BETDAQ exchange review. The sportsbook is just as impressive. We found over 150 markets on most major games, and the odds were often right up there with the best available across the industry. Plus, with maximum payouts of up to one million pounds on markets like Match Betting, Total Goals, Correct Score, First Goalscorer, Asian Handicaps and standard Handicap betting, there’s room for everyone from casual punters to serious high rollers.
If we had to pick one gripe, it would be the lack of football specials. Considering how strong the football specials are on top alternatives, it really feels like a missed opportunity. A few more bet boosts or ready-made accumulators and you would be looking at a pretty much perfect football betting experience.
One of the first things that really stood out while we were putting together this BETDAQ review, was just how ambitious their horse racing coverage is. It’s not just a solid lineup of UK and Irish races. You also get a brilliant range of international events, including dedicated pages for racing in New Zealand, Australia, Japan and the United States.
The odds were right up there too, often matching or even bettering what we found elsewhere. Some other bookies, like bet365, might offer more market variety, but for most punters, win, each-way or Top Two Finish markets will more than do the trick. We would love to see more early outright markets added, but all in all, the BETDAQ horse racing offering is a proper treat.
Unfortunately, we can’t be as overwhelmingly positive about the betting exchange side of things. It’s not really BETDAQ’s fault, but there is just not enough interest in many of the lesser-known races. That means your options on the exchange are mostly limited to the bigger UK and Irish meetings.
Aside from football, tennis is probably the most extensively covered sport on both the sportsbook and the BETDAQ betting exchange. With dozens of markets available per game, they’re particularly strong on handicap odds, you'll find exceptional coverage of events from around the globe, from the French Open to Challenger Doubles and plenty inbetween.
Best of all, there’s often solid activity on the exchange for top-tier events. While there are no guarantees, we've observed anything from £50–£100 to well over £1,000 riding on popular markets. The odds are competitive, the market options are wide-ranging, and the exchange is lively with action. What more could you ask for? Perhaps coverage of more niche tournaments, but for most tennis fans this is nothing but net gains.
Sadly, there are no esports markets available via this bookie at the time of writing. BETDAQ reviews can hardly overlook the platform’s commitment to parity between the sportsbook and BETDAQ exchange and we think that esports likely lack the liquidity right now to support exchange markets.
That said, plenty of other UK bookmakers do offer esports betting, and BETDAQ doesn’t. That’s a disappointment, plain and simple. How much does it matter? That really comes down to how interested you are in betting on esports in the first place.
The only sniff of a specials section this BETDAQ sportsbook review could uncover was a politics page, which was completely empty. We spoke to customer service, who explained that there were currently no markets with enough interest to justify offering them. According to them, BETDAQ does provide specials when there is sufficient demand, such as during major events like the US presidential elections. It seems likely this is part of their effort to keep the sportsbook consistent with BETDAQ exchange offerings, but in this case, that approach is limiting their appeal.
- Regularly matches the best returns in the industry
- Very fair overround
- Consistent quality across multiple sports
- Decimal odds won’t suit everyone
Don’t be fooled by their fame as a betting exchange. BETDAQ sportsbook is no afterthought. In fact, it consistently competes with the very best in the industry. They may not cover many obscure sports, but if you prefer mainstream options, you will find thousands upon thousands of odds offering superb value.
What makes them stand out? Firstly, we tested returns from ten football, tennis, and cricket markets against the best in the business. BETDAQ matched the best returns in six of them, and the other four were so close that most people would find it hardly worth the effort to switch bookies.
Then there’s the overround. We tested five different sets of markets and all of them came in at 108% or under. Considering we generally view anything under 110% to represent quality, that makes BETDAQ truly exceptional.
For instance, take the Nations League clash between Spain and France. Their match odds (2.41 on Spain, 2.92 on France and 3.10 on a draw) converted to exactly 108% implied probability, which was the highest we came across. Our only gripe? We’d like to toggle the odds from decimal, as it doesn’t suit everyone. The good news is if you’re having trouble understanding the odds, our easy-breezy odds calculator can sort you out.
A truly great bookmaker is more than just the sum of its parts. To compete with the best in the UK, the experience needs to deliver across the board. Whether you’re a BETDAQ mobile user, desktop punter, high roller, casual player or any sort of sports fan it should offer something exceptional for everyone regardless of their style or preference. That’s why we’re taking a closer look at the extra features that could help BETDAQ UK stand out from the crowd.
BETDAQ Live Betting
- In-play odds are just as varied and generous as pre-match options
- Fast updates make it easy to react in real time
- Horse racing live streaming is smooth and reliable
- No livestreaming available for any sports other than horse racing
For the most part, live betting at BETDAQ is a real strong point. Just like the BETDAQ betting exchange lines up with the sportsbook, your in-play options are just as packed as what you get before kick-off. What’s more, the live updates are seriously quick, giving you every chance to react and make sharp decisions.
The coverage is spot on too, with stats and graphical updates helping you stay fully in the loop. The only real let-down is livestreaming. You do get it for horse racing, which is excellent, but for everything else, you’ll need to look elsewhere if you want to watch the action unfold. A bit of a letdown there, but everything else is well up to scratch.
BETDAQ Cash Out
- Cash out available on every market tested across multiple sports
- Fair odds offered at cash out
- Cash out odds update quickly during live events
- Cash out option is poorly displayed and hard to find until after placing a bet
Annoyingly, BETDAQ doesn’t make it very clear where cash out is available. It’s not shown clearly on the odds page and usually does not appear until a few minutes after your bet is placed. Even then, you’ll need to dig it out under “my bets”. That said, once you do find it, the cash out option works well. The odds are fair, update quickly with live events and were available on every market we tested across a range of sports. In other words, this BETDAQ review is not criticising the cash out feature itself, just the way it’s presented.
BETDAQ Bet Builder
- Multiples are easy to create thanks to simple bet slip process
- You can freely combine most markets with few restrictions
- Effectively replaces a traditional bet builder
- No dedicated bet builder feature available
BETDAQ doesn’t have a dedicated bet builder, but putting together multiples is straightforward. Just pick your bets and they automatically go into the bet slip. Then choose “multiples” and select which ones you want to combine into an accumulator.
Realistically, we can’t give this part of our BETDAQ sportsbook review full marks because a proper bet builder isn’t there, but the way they’ve set it up works so well it almost makes one unnecessary. Plus, unlike many bookies, there are no restrictions on which markets you can include in your accumulator, so you’ve got plenty of freedom. It’s not a bet builder, but we reckon you’ll be more than happy with it.
BETDAQ Casino
- Over 430 casino games including 365 slots, 26 Megaways and 7 video poker titles
- Live casino offers 17 game shows, 10 baccarat, 11 blackjack and 10 roulette titles
- Betting limits range from just 1p up to £100 per individual bet
- No dedicated poker, bingo or lotto software
If you’re after a bit of a jack of all trades BETDAQ may very well get the job done. While there is no dedicated poker, bingo or lotto software, the general casino offering is top notch. There are 434 casino games in total including 365 slots, 26 Megaways and 7 video poker titles.
Live casino fans are well catered for too with 17 game shows, 10 baccarat, 11 blackjack and 10 roulette options. All come from the best software providers in the business like Red Tiger and NetEnt. With quality software, live streaming and betting limits ranging from a single penny up to £100 per bet, the only thing missing might be some niche games like Crash or Dice.
The number of games is always growing
The figures mentioned above are accurate at the time of writing, but one of the best things about BETDAQ’s online casino is how often new games are added. This list is constantly expanding, so you can be sure that the numbers we shared are just the minimum to expect.
- Quick, efficient live chat
- Super helpful for newcomers to exchange betting
- No pesky chatbot slowing things down
- No late-night live chat support
Your BETDAQ betting experience is backed by an excellent customer support team, especially through live chat. They responded quickly and thoughtfully to all our questions, and honestly, they were some of the most knowledgeable and friendly staff we’ve come across in all our time reviewing UK bookmakers. This is especially useful if you’re new to exchange betting, as they can help fill in any gaps and make sure you get the most out of both the sportsbook and the BETDAQ betting exchange. They even offer educational material on the exchange, which shows they really go the extra mile.
You can also reach them by email or phone, and whichever method you choose, the service is top-notch. Best of all, you don’t have to deal with a chatbot, you get to speak to a real person straight away, which is a breath of fresh air. The only downside is that support is only available from 9am until 7.30pm, so if you have questions late at night, you might have to wait until the next day.
| Customer Service | Details | Duration | Availability |
|---|---|---|---|
| Live Chat (on mobile) | Found via “Contact Us” Page. | Within a minute | 9am – 7.30pm |
| [email protected] | Within 4 hours | 9am – 7.30pm | |

- Apps offer fingerprint authorisation for quick and secure access
- Quick bet slip makes placing bets fast and easy
- Identical promos and markets as the browser version
- Many users report technical issues with the mobile apps, leading to low ratings
A surprising letdown for this BETDAQ review was the customer response to their mobile apps. They have separate iOS and Android versions of bot their betting exchange and BETDAQ sportsbook and reviews are consistently below two stars across all dedicated mobile platforms. It seems many users have experienced technical problems.
That said, our experience was very different. We found the apps worked near flawlessly. Features like fingerprint authorisation, the quick bet slip, and live play coverage performed perfectly during several hours of testing. There’s no missing betting options or promotions either. Our BETDAQ app review on its own would conclude this is a near-perfect portable version of their excellent desktop site, with just a few minor navigational quirks to fix.
However, since other users clearly have had more negative experiences, we would warn that additional technical issues may arise. If that worries you, we recommend using your mobile browser instead, as BETDAQ works brilliantly there too.

BETDAQ FAQs
The minimum deposit at BETDAQ is £10 for all payment methods except bank transfer, which requires a minimum of £200.
Just head to “My Account”, pick “Banking” and then “Withdrawal”. From there, choose your payment method, confirm the amount, and wait for your payment. Simple as that.
Processing times depend on the withdrawal method you choose. Debit card and bank transfers can take anywhere from 24 hours up to 5 working days, while e-wallet withdrawals are usually completed within 24 hours. To avoid any unnecessary delays, make sure your account is fully verified.
BETDAQ doesn’t currently offer any free bets. However, the best approach is to sign up for additional promotions during registration, place bets regularly, and wait for a free bet offer to come through. When it does, just follow the terms and conditions to activate and use your free bets.
At the bottom of the homepage, you’ll find a link called “Contact Us.” Click it and you’ll find options for live chat, email, and a free phone number. Just choose the method that suits you best. 5/5
Spent awhile looking for a betting site that had a bit of everything and even though I’d never heard of Betdaq it seemed to fit the bill, I like a mix of normal sports, exchange and casino stuff so it can be hard to find. Definitely lived up to this review and then some I was really amazed by the variety of stuff you can bet on and even added details like statistics to help you figure out what market to bet on. Welcome offer worked as promised too I just wish there were more ongoing. Very important as well is that this betting site lets you bet for small amounts if you want to which is great for when you’re just fairly casual with your bets. It even has a sports pools option, honestly why this doesn’t get more credit and isn’t more well known to the average person while other sites are everywhere is beyond me. 10/10 no doubt.
