This clash will be highly anticipated and will be a good test to see where Celtic are at on the European stage. Celtic come into the game in Athens level but AEK Athens away goal could be crucial in this tie.
Celtic come into this game having being beaten by Hearts 1-0 at the weekend, handing back Rangers a chance in the title race. Celtic will be wanting to make sure their season doesn’t start dismantling before it has begun by going out of the Champions League.
AEK and Celtic come into this game off the back of a 1-1 draw at Celtic Park and AEK know that if they can hold a 0-0 at home to Celtic or even a nick a goal they have a very good chance of going through. AEK will come into this game having to make at least one change as they picked up a red card in the opening game.
Potential AEK Athens Starting XI: Barkas, Bakakis, Lambropolous Konstantinos, Oikonomou, Lopes, Simoes, Viktor, Bakasetas, Klonaridis, Hult, Livaja
Potential Celtic Starting XI: Gordon, Lustig, Hendry, Ajer, Tierney, Forrest, McGregor, Brown, Ntcham, Rogic, Edouard

Key Stats & Facts

- AEK Athens 29/20
- Draw 2/1
- Celtic 2/1
The last game at Celtic Park was a tight affair and I’m expecting more of the same in Athens on Tuesday night. AEK have the away goal but I reckon Celtic can grab one of their own. I have gone for Under 2.5 goals solely on the basis of how tight the first leg was and how important this game is. I expect Celtic to nick a goal but I cannot see AEK Athens going down quietly.
