Saturday's live televised Premier League fixture sees out-of-form Southampton host inconsistent Man Utd with both sides desperate for three points.
The Saints have failed to win any of their last 9 games in the league, with their last victory coming away to Crystal Palace back in September (0-2).
Goals have been hard to come by for the South Coast side, netting just 10 all season, despite accumulating the third most amount of shots (191) in the league and posting an xG of 17.37, so it would be fair to say they have been unfortunate.
Southampton were knocked out of the League Cup on penalties by Leicester in mid-week and currently sit in the relegation zone, so there is huge pressure on Mark Hughes to get a result here. With the Welshman as low as 1/8 in places to be the next Premier League manager to go, a defeat could signal the end of what would be an extremely short tenure.
Another manager under pressure is Jose Mourinho, if not by the board, then at least by the fans.
Since returning from the international break, two poor results saw his side limp to a 0-0 draw at home to Crystal Palace last weekend which was followed by a lacklustre 1-0 victory over Young Boys in the Champions League on Tuesday, thanks to an injury time goal from Marouane Fellaini.
Despite firing a blank last weekend, scoring goals hasn't really been the issue for the away side – instead it's at the other end where they are having problems. The Red Devils currently have a negative goal difference of -1 having conceded 21 times after just 13 games.
With that in mind, it won't be a surprise to know that Man Utd have conceded in all of their last 5 away games in the Premier League. A worrying stat ahead of Saturday's clash.
Ryan Bertrand, Danny Ings and Shane Long are all doubts for Southampton.
Victor Lindelof remains sidelined for Man utd while Alexis Sanchez has been ruled out with a hamstring injury picked up in training on Thursday.

- There has been under 2.5 goals in 5 of the last 6 meetings between the two sides in all competitions.

It's difficult to predict what kind of performance to expect from either team here so I'm keen to avoid the outright markets. Instead I think I've found some value in corners and cards.
Southampton have averaged 6.17 corners (for) per game at home in the Premier League this season while Man Utd have averaged 5.14 (for) per game away.
Over 10.5 Corners is as low as 4/7 with Sky Bet, yet we can get odds of 6/5 with Betfair which looks like a standout bet to me considering it's landed in 4 of Southampton's 6 home games and 3 of Man Utd's 7 away games.
Meanwhile, both sides have averaged 2.23 cards (for) per game in the league this season. Over 4.5 Cards has banked in 4 of Southampton's 6 games at St Mary's and 4 of Man Utd 7 away games which makes odds of 9/5 for a repeat on Saturday again look like a standout bet.
