Bernd Wiesberger to Win
It's been great to see a return to some form for Bernd Wiesberger in 2026. After a win at the Volvo China Open in April and five top 15 finishes already this year, the Austrian is in good form coming back to an event that he's enjoyed, for the most part at least.
He's come close here several times over the years, finishing second in 2016 and T7 in 2024. He didn't have his best last year (T46), but his game is trending, and he is one of the most accurate players off the tee, which serves him well around a tricky course if you get it offline. He's landing around the 28/1 mark and for us, that looks good value.
Casey Jarvis Each Way
If you look in the dictionary for the term “flusher”, you see a picture of a 22-year-old South African in the form of Casey Jarvis. What an eight months it's been for the kid. He's fourth in the Race to Dubai, has four wins to his name since November and comes into this week with a game that should suit the course perfectly.
He's not a bomber by any means, but he can still get it out there. However, his irons are elite, and he's gaining 0.8 strokes in approach on Data golf, which is monstrous. If he can get the putter to work, don't be surprised to see win number five here, but for a bit of cover, we're opting to take Jarvis each-way paying eight places with bet365.
Dan Bradbury Each Way
Dan Bradbury is our third pick this week. The Englishman is having a breakout year of his own and picked up his first win at the Joberg Open in March. That's three top-five finishes from 13 starts this season alone.
This will be the fourth time that Bradbury has played at the KLM Open, with a best finish of T7 last year. His game is well-suited, and like Jarvis, he's a flusher with the irons. He's going to need to putt well to be in the mix, but he's a name that will be around for a long time yet, with one of the most well-rounded games on the DP World Tour right now. 40/1 for another each-way bet is great value.

The inaugural Dutch Open took place in 1912 at the Haagsche course in the Netherlands, with Englishman George Pannell winning that first event. The event didn’t reoccur until 1915, when, once again, it was held at Haagsche. On that occasion, winner Gerry del Court van Krimpen beat Englishmen Henry Burrows and Ernest Kettley to lift the trophy on home ground. After that, the tournament took place there every year until the outbreak of the Second World War in 1939.

The competition resumed in 1945 after a six-year hiatus. The tournament has been a fixture in the yearly golf calendar, with the exception of 2020, when it was cancelled due to the pandemic. Despite being shifted around the schedule to different time slots, it has always been played at the beginning of September ever since 2010.

The Dutch Open has utilised various courses around the Netherlands. The Hilversumsche Golf Club hosted thirty tournaments, the Kennemer Golf and Country Club hosted 23, and the Royal Haagsche Golf and Country Club hosted 20 tournaments each. None of the other venues has hosted more than ten tournaments.

From 1981 to 1990 and from 2004 to 2020, the tournament was known as the KLM Open, named after its longest-standing main title sponsor, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. However, after the latter took the decision to drop their sponsorship duties ahead of the 2021 event, it has now been reinstated since 2023 onward as the KLM Open.
