Post international break for the final time in 2018 sees Bournemouth host Arsenal. The gunners are well versed in sides around them in the league and take on a poppies side that have slid pre-international break and will look to seal something from this.
Arsenal’s squad and direction should give them the edge making the relatively short journey to the south coast.
Beginning with the hosts Jefferson Lerma and Joshua King have both returned to full training and are available this weekend following injury concerns.
A hand injury forced Asmir Begovic to withdraw from the Bosnia squad during the international break but he will start against Arsenal.
A groin injury could keep Junior Stanislas out once again for the home side, while Adam Smith has been ruled out for three months with a knee injury.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette both withdrew from international duty due to respective back and groin injuries but have both returned to training with Arsenal this week and should feature.
Laurent Koscielny is nearing a first-team return but lacks match fitness and isn’t expected back just yet. Nacho Monreal is ruled out for another two weeks, while Stephan Lichtsteiner will require further assessment.
Potential Bournemouth Starting XI: Begovic, Daniels, Ake, Cook, Francis, Brooks, Cook, Lerma, Fraser, King and Wilson
Potential Arsenal Starting XI: Lemon, Bellerin, Mustafi, Holding, Kolasinac, Torreira, Xhaka, Iwobi, Ozil, Aubameyang and Lacazette

Bournemouth have lost successive Premier League matches for the first time this season. The international break came at the right time, even if their injury problems have not eased. Arsenal are unbeaten in all competitions since August but have struggled to turn draws into wins of late, drawing four of their last five in all competitions.
Unai Emery’s side start the weekend in fifth and four points ahead of their opponents Bournemouth, who are sixth. Arsenal have not won their last two trips to Dean Court but you suspect they are better placed to change that this time around.
Arsenal at 11/10 general appears to be a fair priced punt on the basis of a coin toss. Arsenal have developed the mantra of avoiding defeat. Seeing the gunners are just 4/6 to net two or more goals, the 11/10 looks better in respect of getting over the line.
The stats point towards Arsenal, and at 11/10 I have seen worse bets around. I would not put punters off considering Arsenal to win and both to score at 12/5 or the bigger price of Arsenal to be drawing at half time and lead at full time at 5/1 with BetVictor.
